This school doesn't care about the students, only doing anything that looks good for students to maintain their image.

I don’t recommend this school. The bullying is a huge problem in the school which the staff does nothing about it.The food there is just disgusting,The staff doesn’t care about anything except the fight after the huge fights all they do is just detention.Which won’t improve the kids behaviors. They only removed phones since they want a good representation of the school for more people to join. The fights keep happening and the kids keeps doing the most stupidest things to break anything.Which just tires the janitors. The school shows that instead of fighting they should “rock paper scissors”,Like what is that going to do no person there is going too listen to any of those. The fights are always for the stupidest reasons. The drama is dumb too like if something normal happens they make anything a drama in instagram. The school is just bad,The teachers don’t even care and just put videos and nearpods for us to get “taught”.The school is full of kids that think they are in a whole gang when their just normal kids that have friends and all talk. The kids are so bad that anything can happen even shut down for the school. The teachers puts kids in detention for the stupidest reasons even talking for one second we get 30 days of detention with the teacher or we don’t answer a question since we didn’t know the answer that we get detention after school. The school is very poor the cafeteria shares with the elementary kids in the other side of the school named Ben Painter. The school just care mostly about the scores and beating other schools and having a good representation for more people to go to Sheppard.Just please don’t put your children in this trash school.

Bullying and fights in this school is a huge problem. In the span of just a few month there has been an uncountable number of fights, and guess how the principal solves this problem… by banning cellphones. The reason why they banned cellphones at this school is so that students will stop recording fights and post them on the internet so that their school will keep a perfect image. The Cafeteria food is gross, The most teachers don’t even teach they just play a video on the lesson, The teachers give way to homework even during COVID times, I’m in a the leadership class and all you do in that class is sitting around doing nothing, The only times they talk about character is in advisory, The school never addressed bullying and the only time they did they said “Guys just Rock Paper Scissors instead of fighting”. If you can, please don’t go to this school.

William L Sheppard middle school is a fantastic school ! There are many people who aren't so focused on their future, but most are, student here treat each other like family . Unlike some students who wish they were in some other private schools and hate this one so much with a passion. I recommend that those people should pack up and go because they are really not needed on campus . Judging people about how they are raised, disgusted by all of these people who think their above any other students or "better" then them. We are all human , all equal , we are all people no matter how small. So to those students at Sheppard who think so little about the school and the students , you really need to look again and see you're just like everyone else, so deal with it

This school is not a good middle school. While only a little teachers are encouraging, the others show lack in helping and educating the students and only care about getting their pay-check. There is a huge bullying problem at this school and staff has proven time and time again that they do not care about the safety, welfare, and education of the students. Even worse is that the principal and vice principal only worry about getting the best test scores and beating other school's test scores. They put on rallies encouraging kids to do their best for the state tests. How can they if more than half of the teachers aren't competent enough to teach?! They show no effort tying to improve the quality of this school. Parents get little say in the actions of the school, and PTA meetings are a waste of time. My child tells me that the food their is atrocious. She tells me the food the receive is over-processed and unhealthy, like uncooked hot dogs and spaghetti. They never offer healthy vegetables and if they do, it's celery and extremely small cup of coleslaw. One of my biggest regrets is allowing my child to go to this school without doing more research about how horrible this school is.

This is school has many bullying issues and I've been here for 2 years and going to 8th grade and my experience was terrible. Each year, there's a food fight and a number of students with behavior problems. Lots of people cut in line and the wait of 30 minutes to go to lunch takes up lunch time. The school is also dirty and the bathrooms are absolutely pathetic. But some of the teachers here actually care and are great at teaching. The only reason that makes them yell all the time is the students who don't shut up. There's going to be a change for the 2014-2015 year for Sheppard which will provide classes like Drama and Art so hopefully this year it won't suck. So all the students coming to Sheppard, don't be one of those kids who don't care about learning and tries too hard to be cool. The only reason why I regret going to this school is because of the society in this school. Good Luck! - from a student

This school isn't the best but it isn't the worst either. Some staff are dedicated while others just stand in the background. Some violence has happened around here from my perspective. The staff here are like the students here: some are dedicated while others are just struggling. The one thing this school and staff are trying to do is deal with the recent and constant changes that has been happening in the district and this state. Anyways this school has some really good potential. They have been number one when it comes to star testing. Highest score out of 800 which is very impressive. So there are some really good things and there are some things that I wish were taken into consideration. Nothing more nor less to be said
