We are just a few months into the school year, but this has hands down been our family's favorite school yet (out of 3!) and we already wish they had a K program. Our kid WANTS to go to school everyday, begs to stay for drop-in aftercare, and will negotiate with us for it. You heard that right - our outlier kid, the one that's just a little (or a lot!) different from the other kids, doesn't always like to participate, and has always kind of wondered why we have to go to school - loves going to Eureka Learning Center so much, that if I wave a longer school day around, kid will happily do whatever I'm asking. It's a unicorn. The curriculum is flexible, thoughtful, and able to meet a wide variety of kids where they are. It's social, academic, AND play-based. The teachers are top-notch and very experienced. I can see progress being made every week. One of kid's favorite parts of the day is "Mindful tops", when the kids get to be quiet for as long as the top spins. There is a large outdoor space that the kids spend lots of time in daily. There are a wide variety of rotating activities. Our conversations on the way home usually go like this:Me: "What did you do at school today?"Kid: "Good! Better than yesterday."OK, so I know that's not exactly answering the question I asked, but the important thing is that there hasn't yet been a limit to how "good" it is. Every single day is better than yesterday. I brought that up recently, and he just looked at me like I must not have understood what he said. So I dropped it. Every day must be better than the one before it. That's just how it is.We got screwed in the public school TK lotto and it ended up being a blessing because we are so lucky to have found this gem of a Kinder prep program. When we enrolled at Eureka, it already had quite a reputation to live up to based on the feedback of other parents. I didn't hear from a single parent with anything negative to say... and I went looking (our kid is an outlier kid, right? fit is super important to us). I heard "thriving", "magical", "wants to go to school on the weekend". It has not disappointed.Eureka takes 4-year-olds of all kinds on a first-come-first-served basis. Run don't walk!

We feel incredibly fortunate to have discovered this wonderful TK program, and we can't recommend it enough. Each day, our son comes home excited to share something new, like proudly pointing out where my femur is or telling us that his little brother has more bones than we do (if you couldn't tell, last week was body week!).The teachers have fostered such a nurturing, joyful atmosphere, and it's clear how much our son is thriving under their care. In just a few short months, we've seen his confidence and curiosity blossom, and we're so grateful to be a part of this wonderful school community.

Absolutely wonderful school and staff. Our youngest attended TK during the pandemic lockdown year, and it couldn’t have been better. My only regret is that because of COVID, we didn’t have the opportunity to spend more time with the school community. They are all truly fantastic, and we feel so lucky to have been there all year last year.

We have sent both of our kids through Eureka Learning Center for their TK years. Our son went two years ago and our daughter this year. I recommend the school without hesitation. Being a TK-only program really prepares the kids for kindergarten by putting them in a same-age environment and teaching them for the social emotional and academic skills they need to be successful. The teachers Laura and Yvette have been leading the program for years and it shows. They show incredibly respect for the kids and also teach them to respect each other. Administration and communication wise, Leanne, the director, and the teachers are fantastic and easy to work with. We always felt in the know of what was going on at school and with our kids.

This school is currently a standalone Transitional Kindergarten. It's doing a stellar job of preparing my child and her classmates for the structure of kindergarten. It is truly a bridge between play-based preschool and kindergarten. My child has received exceptional care at this amazing school. Teachers Laura, Yvette and Markus have an amazing understanding of children and as a result each child feels like a valued member if their little community. My child was one of the popular and hard-to-get-into preschool before and was withdrawn and unhappy there. Leslie, the director and her wonderful teachers have amazingly helped my child to blossom and shine. She loves school, and is very social. The teachers get to know the children very quickly. Teacher Yvette realized that my child could read within an hour of meeting her. Her previous teachers had no idea that she could read until I told them. My daughter is learning about how each member of her little community has strengths and weaknesses and how to help others and to seek help when she needs it. Needless to say she LOVES school and wishes she could go there over the weekend too! The staff have been very helpful with elementary school admissions. All the children in my daughters class who applied to private schools (there were some who went to public school as well) received offers from one or more wonderful private school. The teachers were very helpful with advising parents of suitable schools and helping with the application process. We are going to miss Leslie, Laura, Yvette and Marcus so much when we leave.

Hard to imagine a better preschool. The only reason for less parental involvement rating is because the school is so well run - they don't need it. This school is a treasure.

This is a perfect school. The director Leslie Banta sets the tone for the entire staff, all of whom are truly educated educators. They are smart, patient, loving, positive, and clear with the children. They provide wonderful activities in a safe, happy environment. In the many years both my kids attended their preschool and transitional kindergarten, I never saw them say anything harsh or inappropriate with the kids. They are great, too, with energetic boys (which I appreciated, since I have one) and when parents are having trouble with their kids, they are great coaches. Wish every school were as good as Eureka.

We attended the Transitional Kindergarten and Teacher Laura and Teacher Ivy are AMAZING. Simply the best. The atmosphere is absolutely wonderful. Not only did my daughter learn and thrive but the small environment allowed her develop social skills that really help her through elementary school.
