They discriminate and bully. The staff is horrible, but the teachers are great and should be the ones running the school.

I want to start this by saying the teachers here are amazing and my kids adore them; I adore them as well. The reason for the low score is the current principal. My son was physically assaulted by a child and she showed no compassion. Instead she was trying to blame my son for the assault even though the offending child provoked it from the beginning. The superintendent backed her up and we have no ground to stand on to keep fighting. It’s shameful and disgusting that my son was assaulted and no one seemed to care. Cannot wait for my daughter to be done here so we never have to deal with this principal again.

I would rate my experience with this school as below average.

Poor. My child does not need daily blows to his already low self esteem thanks to this school.

Overall, we had a very positive experience with Meadow View. We had 2 children with special needs and 1 "regular' ed student. They were all treated the same regardless, whenever extra supports were required, it was received. All the staff was friendly and helpful and truly enjoyed their jobs. We feel truly blessed to have been a part of this wonderful and caring community.

Meadow View Elementary has been exceptional. The communication between the school and families is wonderful and the teachers are highly experienced and educated. I transferred my child here from a private school that was not challenging enough for her. Having a Masters degree in education, I have only positive things to say about Meadow View.

We just recently moved to this area (myself, husband, & 6 yr old son) I was so worried about finding the right school for my son's needs as he was born with a congenital neurological disorder and hypoplasia of the Corpus Callosum (means the corpus callosum is intact but thinner than it should be) We are very lucky because our son has a mild form of this disorder. When I called Meadow View literally 2 weeks before the start of the school year and asked how I would go about registering him, discuss his IEP, explain his disorder ect... we scheduled a meeting so I could see the school and meet the staff as well as decide on proper placement for my son. I could not have picked a better group of people than the staff at Meadow View. For the first time in my life I actually feel like we are a team working together instead of the negative staff/atmosphere I experienced at a different school. My son has been going to school since he turned 3 yrs old and this year is the FIRST YEAR THAT MY SON HAS NOT CRIED BEFORE SCHOOL OR CRIED BECAUSE HE DIDN'T WANT TO GO! He actually wants to go to school!!! No parent or teacher is perfect ANYWHERE, but the staff at Meadow View have won me over!!

My son is new to this school he started the end of the school year this May 2013. He loves this school. The teachers are awesome. The lunches are awesome. Quotes from my son. I thought that he may have a hard time adjusting at first, but it really feels like you're family here. Thank you meadowview.
