Ms. Kathy and Ms. Diane run a fabulous school and create a nurturing learning environment. My children are now 13 and 16 years old and I appreciate the phenomenal start they game my kids in preschool. Having experienced many teachers throughout the years who just don't care, I am thankful that they were kind to the students, but yet if I needed to know about a situation, they were quick to keep me apprised of any issues involving my children. I just can't say enough about how fantastic Ms. Diane and Ms. Kathy are with kids.

Great school with wonderfully experienced teachers and we are so thankful for them! Two of our kids attended for Pre-k and Kindergarten and it was a great start. They inspired them to have a love of learning. The teachers had a perfect balance of kindness and high expectations. Thank you Garden Gate Teachers!

My 3 year old son was ejected from the school because, on his first day, he got out of the school and they found him playing by the busy street. After a few days, he opened the latch to the playground to get out. According to them, he is not ready for preschool, even though they said he does great in the class. He was there a total of 9 hours when they made this decision, leaving us with just days to find another school for him. I was very disappointed in how quick they were to dismiss my son.

I sent my three daughters to GGMS for Pre-K through Kindergarten and we have had a great experience with the school. The teachers are all very nurturing and provide a great place for the kids to learn and play. The school really has an environment that will bring out the best in your child. Truly a great Montessori school that I have been happy to be a part of for the past 5 years.

This is my sons first year at GGM. He is 3 years old. He started the school year and I was so nervous because he has never been away from me but he is doing so great in school and he loves going. He goes Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday for a few hours and he truly looks forward to going. The teachers are all wonderful. We really like Miss Kathy, but miss Diane and the rest of the staff is just as wonderful!! My son is writing words, can sound out words and is reading short stories. He is learning about the United states. He teaches me his Spanish words that he learns at school. (He is THREE!) im enjoying watching him learn and grow as much as he is enjoying this wonderful school :)

My son started preschool here at the age of 3 and we absolutely adored it! Ms. Diana, Ms, Kathy, Ms. Jennifer and all of the other assistants and teachers have been wonderful. In one year, my son is already starting to read and has greatly progressed with writing and numbers. But, most importantly, he LOVES going to school. They create a fun, loving environment, and the Montessori learning style fosters great independence and problem solving skills. We are sad to be leaving due to my husbands job moving us across the country. We definitely recommend Garden Gate!

My daughter attends Garden Gate Montessori, and she absolutely loves it!!! She goes three days a week in the morning, and she has been attending there for the past year or so. She learns arts and crafts, spelling and math skills, reading, and spanish. All the teachers are wonderful and are absolutely fantastic with the kids. My daughter is excited to go each day.

My three children have all received a Montessori education. Garden Gate is a wonderful place for your child to receive a quality education, a nurturing place to express themselves, and to be fully prepared for 1st grade. My son completed his 3 year cycle at Garden Gate (3-6 yrs old) and was so far advanced once he entered the 1st grade, he tested into the second! The children receive lots of outside play time (they have a great outside space) and the guides are exceptional. I felt the guides were always available to me for discussions regarding my son's education. He learned so much about respect, communicating with other children, and I did not find another school that had such a diverse/multi-ethnic enrollment! Garden Gate became a second home to my son and I am forever grateful our time there.

Reply to "less than perfect child": We at Garden Gate Montessori School strive to make sure each child flourishes academically and socially. When we find a child is struggling in the classroom academically, socially or emotionally, we work with the parents immediately to help the child adjust to school. We acted quickly beginning in August through November to implement, with the help of the parents, various approaches to help modify this child's behavior to ensure the child's safety as well as the safety of the other children in the classroom. After several conferences, everyone concerned; the parents, teachers, and administration all agreed that the child's needs would be best met in a different early childhood setting.

If your kid is anything less than perfect I wouldn't send them here. Funny how they decide my kid wasn't montessori material 3 weeks after the fundraising money was due.
