The principals have no clue what’s going on at the school and shows a clearly lack of care or responsibility.

My children went here last year. We will not be returning. We were looking for more with the girls education.

Terrible teachers who give too much homework and don't care about bullies. My daughter was a victim and the teachers did nothing.

We feel very fortunate to have had our kids go through this school. Excellent staff, very willing to help and always keep parents informed with what's going on. So glad we are in this school district, so much better than Plainfield schools.

I have two second-graders at this school. We have been there since kindergarten. The teachers, principal and staff are all very involved and concerned. Any emails I've sent are returned (or else I get a telephone call) the very same day. The principal seems to know the kids by name. LOTS of opportunities to be involved as a parent, and lots of parents do get involved. I once chaperoned a field trip and there were so many parents we each only had two kids in our group! This is a really great place to send your kids. You will be glad you're in this neighborhood.

Between all of my children, we have spent 7 years here. I have unceasingly been supported by an excellent group of teachers that have a genuine concern for the student. The principal has been very positive and proactive when situations occur. The PTO is phenomenal. I dread the day my youngest walks out of 4th grade and has to leave this school for 5th at MIS.

I have had two children attend Walnut Trails since it opened. You will not find a more dedicated teaching and administrative staff. While there was over-crowding, this has been remedied by the opening of a new school and the learning environment was never compromised. Parents here are dedicated too!
