My daughter has been going here since 2018 and the school is amazing! The staff is more than great at what they do. All the teachers so far have gone above and beyond making her time there a wonderful learning environment. Super nice and keep parents informed on what’s going on. First grade they offered speech class to her and they did an amazing job throughout that process. They have really cool events throughout the year making it so much fun to be a part of. Movie night/bingo/family fitness/daddy daughter dance/etc! Definitely would recommend this school to everyone!

Kindergarten teacher's are awful, rude, and aren't following CDC guideline.

My child with multiple disabilities was denied therapeutic support program. Plainfield school says they can handle it. THEY CERTAINLY CAN NOT!!!

My daughter is in kindergarten, her teacher has been wonderful especially with communication. This class is the largest of the K classes at 24 students, but the teacher does very well making sure all are learning, even though each has a different pace

The interior of the school is clean, bright and it has a exterior security door that you must be buzzed through to access the school. Even though this is a newer school it does not have a stand alone gym. The gym area is sectioned in half during lunch by a folding wall. This school also lacks an auditorium so again the gym is the multipurpose catch all room. The library is well equipped with books and adequate computer stations. All the teachers I have dealt with are very knowledgeable, caring and have kept open communication with me about my students progress. Unfortunately, through no fault of there own, all they seem to do in school is test, test and test some more. This school also has one of the largest special needs enrollment in the district. The school is located in a neighborhood that is currently under construction so school boundaries may change in the future. Thomas Jefferson is located directly across from Aux Sable Middle school. TJ has a bland exterior and an extremely small play ground area. Also children will go out side for recess as long as it is dry and the temperature is 30* or above...so dress your kids warm!
