I love the school so far, I feel that they do make an effort to help the kids succeed. I appreciate how they celebrate the students achievements in all the programs they offer and the city of Pico Rivera acknowledges their success. Only reason I gave it one less star is because my child tells me the office staff are rude when she ask for help except the attendance office.

No ayudan en nada ni consejera ni principal ni nadie solo dicen que te van a llamar para ayudar al alumno y nunca llaman y uno llama y se pasan la bolita uno al otro son demasiado incompetentes solo juegan con uno se le manda email y jamás contestan ninguna persona la peor escuela

I can’t even begin to start on how horrible this school is , I went there years ago and bullying goes unchecked and the counselors couldn’t care less , the aids that are suppose to watch students are very unprofessional also a teacher had said that anyone who is not smart enough to go to college will most likely end up in the military which was also on the news. Students show up with stomach hanging out and shorts so short that you can see there bottom.

I attended this school for my first 2 years of high school. It was an absolutely terrible experience. The teachers are not good at doing their jobs. The administration is rude and completely uncaring. They will say that they will do something for you and try to improve your experience there but they will not stick to their promise. I have never had good experiences with this school, even when my older brother attended before me. After my sophomore year, I transferred to California High School in Whittier where I am doing much better. The staff at Cal is caring and understanding and they do more for their students.

My child came to this school well prepared from middle school; once he got to El Rancho everything went down in the first semester. It got so bad that from honor classes went straight to regular classes in the first year. I do think student do not get the motivation enough to keep on. As a parent I've tried everything I can. I think the problem is most of the public schools, to many student, they just become invisible to teacher that do not want to work hard rather they focus on those student that are easy to be taught, because they don t have time?...
