My kids been here since kinder, and I must say the principal I believe was new. But I cannot say I did have any issues with her, she did seem very proactive with everything.The staff oh my goodness Ms. Maria is the best she is very loving, kind, very incredible person. Troy also is very welcoming and he is been Learning to speak Spanish and as of today he is really good at it. Teachers I haven’t had that much bad experience with them, I have felt heard by them, and they have been try to understand every child. Even this year, my kids had a rough times, but the teachers have been very fast in trying to make sure my kids feel safe. Including the counselor has such a happy personality, I have felt heard. I understand it May seems the scores low and all but kids are learning 2 languages and reading in 2 languages.Only thing I would really like to have more here is more activities for the kids, like some schools do color run, or coming to school after and do a reading time in classrooms something where kids and parents can be more engaged. But overall, my kids feel happy here.

This school needs improved leadership or a complete change in venue perhaps even becoming a charter school so parents can begin holding teachers accountable for their short comings and not somewhere to hide till they can retire.

There have been 4 principals in the last 4 years and only one has been competent. The current principle is learning her way but lacks independent thought, independent judgement and initiative necessary to help this school succeed. The school has no follow through or any kind of accountability. School would be better as a Charter School since all of the politics would be lessened and true attention can be given to the students, where it belongs.

EXCELLENT. I REALLY APPRECIATE THE TIME AND EFFORT AND THE LOVE FROM THE TEACHERS. I FEEL MY CHILDREN ARE IN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT AND I TRUST THE TEACHERS AND STAFF ARE DOING THE BEST TO THEIR ABILITY.
