The teachers and staff are fantastic ! Great balance of academics and faith.

God bless the parent below, she/he seems to be misinformed and/or out of touch. These teachers work really hard and have the biggest hearts. I believe teachers help mold our children for future education and life situations. I see our kids learning and receiving the discipline that will allow them to excel, and i could not be more pleased. St. Hilary is doing the best it can with the limited resources it has and I believe that should be recognized. I would love to see more leadership and from that, progress and a direction. Together we can help make the best possible situation/environment for the kids, because in the end that is the most important thing.

I have to say that the new principal is outgoing with the students and cares for them all. I do have to say that the teachers who have been there for over 10-20yrs are burned out. This school needs to new motivated teachers or just do more for them because you can tell they are burned out. Some teachers yell to much and as a parent I do not allow that. There is still so much to do as it seems the principal is being smart and patient to see what else he is going to change. The education taught is not so great as it can do better. My kids go there but in knowing that teachers can do what they please as to not give them PE as a consequence that did it for us. Looking forward in making a change as I lost faith in private schools. Do we send our kids to private to connect with God? because the education is not all that or do it ourselves? At the end it is up to us as parents to do what it takes to teach them about God as I do not trust teachers who yell and don't give kids a voice yet expect respect in return.

The past school year has brought so many changes. With the replacement of a long time principal to a new principal and/or new teachers. I must say, most were skeptical about how the school would continue under the new organization. You could feel the tension and gloom. But if we are realistic I think we all knew deep down inside St. Hilary's was old and needed some major upgrading and modernization. The new principal is a breath of fresh air. He has implemented so many changes for the better for his first year. I can't wait to see what he has in store in the next year. I didn't think I'd be writing this a year ago, but I see now the potential in the school and the vision of the new principal brings hope. Sure change can't be done overnight, but I'm definitely happy with the new direction. I was considering going to a different school last year but I'm glad I stuck it out. Hopefully the principal has a plan for teacher reviews and qualifications. I would like to know who teaches and why they are qualified to teach. I would also like to see this school thrive academically.

St Hilary has made changes that put it in the right direction. The sky is only the limit coming 2014-15 school year. Now lower tuition and a new Principal as made the difference. The athletic coaches especially the Girls Basketball coach is extremely dedicated to the success of the school.

Wow! I am glad that I found this review site. I will agree 100% with the last comment. Especially with the school secretary. She is even rude to the children. The kind of attitude that she displays is made for someone who would work in a prison. Hopefully your someone that she likes. I hope the new principal changes things around for the better. The school needs change. A lot of change. And it is true for the amount of money you pay you could get more somewhere else. This school says they are very big on respect, values and morals. However, it is sorta of hypocritical to favor certain families over others. At this school you don't get what you pay for....you get what they think you deserve.

This school was at once a great school. Unfortunately, if your not one of the favorite families your concerns will be ignored. Special treatment to certain families is very obvious. This is including the treatment by the school Secretary. The PTO has not displayed there budget for the last two years. They just give excuses on why they can't show it (sort of strange if you ask me). As for the staff 1st thru 3rd grade teachers are amazing. A new Principal and Vice principal will be a change for next year. Hopefully, the school will change for the better and not get any worse. For the cost of tuition you could go somewhere else and get more. Sad to say but it's true.

I took my children out because I found that they were very behind in math compared to to the public schools in the surrounding area. The textbooks that they are using are old. The social studies material are also incorrect with wording. Also, I found that the fourth grade teacher in particular was very lazy and does the bare minimum. I have tried to communicate with her and she changes the topic when you ask her a a direct question. I will say that the school does emphasize on respect which is a plus. But overall it not worth the price of the tuition.

Glad to be leaving.. Way too many free dress days. Not so friendly or approachable staff. I always felt bad for those who names were posted on newsletter on missing paperwork. Tuition price is ok but then you pay for more tshirts and "special" lunches that it adds up. need to update their environment, very old school.

My son just completed first grade at St. Hilary school, he has been at this school since kindergarten. As a parent I feel he is being challenged academically, he has learned so much at this school. I personally liked his kindergarten teacher, she is friendly and is wonderful with her students. My child's first grade teacher was awesome she expects a lot from her students and was always very good about answering any questions I had. We will be enrolling our younger son in their transitional kindergarten program this coming school year. I look forward to seeing my children grow at this school.

Biggest MISTAKE OF MY LIFE....I so regret putting my son in the school....the comment about the kindergarten teacher is way too kind. She is extremely rude never says Hello or even smiles to the parents, makes me wonder how she treats her students. And yes on too many free dress days if I wanted free dress I would of put my son in public school. This school is very behind on there academics...what a shame.....all teachers should have degrees...How can we expect them to educate our kids when they don't have good education. I want my money back........

My Daughter & Nieces and Nephew attend St Hilary's & we all love this school. My daughter is challenged everyday and she always seems to be one more step ahead of other kids we know that attend public schools. I love how grades are important as well as parent involvement in the child & school. Children are very disciplined and are taught to respect everyon and grow in God's love. I feel my daughter is not ready for the "real world" and I like that she is not exposed to those kinds of elements and is around children like her with that are raised with the same values as the ones her family and I teach her. I, myself couldnt ask for a more loving staff or better school! As long as they continue to teach; we will have our growing family as part of this school family for years to come.

Its ok. The teachers teach well, but the only teacher I had a problem with was the 8th grade teacher. She would teach but my daughter told me she was unfair. The tuition is ok in price, but they hold too many fundraisers that are pointless and mandetory. They take a lot of your money and keep takeing it each year. But the religous educationd is very good. My daughter learned so much in religon and they go to church twice a week which is good. But all in all I didt really like the school, I don't really recomend it
