I must say I,do love this school! This school and the staff are great and always encouraging the children to do their best. My son is in first grade and he loves his teacher and past teachers too. He is excited to go to school. The principal Mr. Avila makes sure the teacher and staff are happy and making especially sure the children are happy. He does a great job caring for the entire school. All this pays off as this school was recognized as number 2 nation wide as academic school of the year. And number 1 in California...

We love this school! The teachers, principal and staff truly go above and beyond for the students. My child is excited to go to school everyday to learn something new. Education at its finest indeed!

Es una gran escuela, el director es muy dedicado a la escuela y conoce a cada uno de los niños , se interesa por su desarrollo socio emocional y su educación. La comunidad de PTA y personal administrativo, hacen una gran labor con todas las familias que pertenecen a la escuela.

Both my daughters currently attend MTGE (3rd grade & Kinder). Teachers are great. They always motivate students to be better. As long as teachers and parents work together for the education of the students the experience will be great! TEAM WORK = Success

me gusta mucho esta escuela, los maestros son excelentes pero la maestra Trejo mis respetos es muy motivadora, entusiasta, exigente, alegre, muy disciplinada, los asistentes tambien son amables ,los baños estan limpios y no estan alejados del salon de clases.

Don't let the awesome API for this school fool you. This school is understaffed at a ratio of at least 30:1. I made it a point to take the daily drive (about 15-20 minutes one way) because it is supposed to be a good school but almost a month into the school year and my son hasn't brought home any homework. How do they manage to maintain that score beats me. My son is not being pushed to learn or maintain motived. I am starting to consider changing him to his home school.

I was a student here. I am now 21. My memories at MGE were great. Teachers were great. There are still teachers there that taught me when I went there. They really care about the kids. When I have a kid, i'm definitely taking them here for their Elementary education.

Montebello Gardens is a great school. I love the fact that the teachers and parents are always involved in everything. The staff is very communicative and the Principal Mrs. Perez is a great addition to the school.

We are new to MGE this year my son is in 2nd grade he has a wonderful teacher and the whole entire staff is amazing! We are so happy with MGE! :)

My son has been attending Montebello Gardens since he was in 1st. Grade, he's now in 5th grade! The principal is amazing! The teachers and parents are always involved in the cognitive and emotional development of our children. We like a huge family who is always there to support our small school!!!
