This is a truly amazing school. My family and I love it and could never dream of a better school for our children. The teachers, front office staff, and the rest of the administration are lovely. Especially Mrs. Dohogne. They deeply care about their students and it shows.

Our family has nothing but positive things to say about our experience with Moon Mountain Elementary. Our son has been there since Kindergarten and is now in 3rd grade. We recently moved but only down the road because we wanted him to stay at Moon Mountain. The teachers and staff have all been amazing to work with. Our son was so terrified to start school because his experience with day cares. His kindergarten teacher was the best, she made him feel so safe and loved which made a huge impact on him and how he views school. Each one of his teachers have ensured he is thriving and always doing his best. Our son is very bright, they acknowledge that but also let us know what he can work on academically to be better. They see his potential and encourage him to keep growing. We have never had any major issues with our sons behavior at school but the one time he said something inappropriate, they contacted us immediately and we came up with an action plan to correct. The school and district do a great job at keeping families updated on any issues, changes, and outside activities. Our family is proud to be a part of the Moon Mountain community.

I am proud to say that all of my children have gone to Moon Mountain and have had an exceptional experience. All of the teachers through the years have gone above and beyond, and some becoming instrumental in my children’s lives still today. I love and appreciate the structure and sense of community Moon Mountain staff have always helped reinforce in my children’s lives.

Let me start by saying I absolutely love the school! They have been so helpful with my grandson! I am his guardian and he has special needs and they have helped him tremendously! First he did the special needs kids preschool and it helped him so much and the teacher at the time was Miss Cordova and she was fantastic! He's in first grade this year and has Miss Vierthaler, she is fantastic! My grandson is shy and she has opened him up to a whole New world! He wants to go to school everyday! And this is a kid who never wanted to go to school! He says he loves to learn how fantastic is that! I love everyone here the principal on down they're safe they stay out there to make sure all the kids get in the car they're supposed to and the kids get picked up as they're supposed to I like their system. We are extremely happy with the school and would highly recommend it!

This was the first school our kids went to after online/homeschool and we could not have asked for a better experience. The transition has been so seamless and the teachers we have worked with are so amazing and all we could ask for!

Overall my child has improved tremendously. She started off as being an English Language Learner and by the end of the year, thanks to her teachers, she was proficient.

Our family is so grateful for all the staff at Moon Mountain. This is our 3rd year that our two children have attended. When we moved to this neighborhood, my oldest already had an IEP in place from the smaller school district where he attended kindergarten. I won't elaborate on the issues we had with trying to get his needs met at our old district; but once we enrolled in Moon Mountain absolutely everyone involved in his IEP worked so quickly & compassionately to get him into a much less restrictive environment where he still gets all the support he needs. Every teacher our kids have had so far has been so easy to communicate with. The school also has a great gifted program, with classes during the school day as well as an after school program.

My kid has been going to moon mountain for 2 years and he loves it! The teachers are awesome. The staff and all the teachers know my kids name and he enjoys going to school. He is always excited to learn and help in the class. Great environment, staff and principal!

This is my second year with my children at Moon Mountain. Teachers are very passionate at what they do and keep parents in constant communication through use of emails, texts, and notes in take home folders. I know my children are safe and in good hands at Moon Mountain.

I would rate the school a zero. This school is terrible. Send your child to a charter school or homeschool.

I've had two children at Moon Mountain. Both of them are twice exceptional (gifted and learning disabled). The teachers, staff and administration are all AMAZING. They helped both of my kids so much. Everyone there is there for the kids. There is not one teacher there that I wouldn't recommend. Thank you Moon Mountain!!

We've had 3 children attend and soon a 4th. All have done or are doing well and all have and are enjoying their teachers and time at MM.

This is our 8th year at MM with two of our three students having special needs. As is true at all schools you must advocate for your child. We have always been respected at the IEP meetings and our input was given consideration and implemented. As for some teachers and staff members there is drama and pettiness. However, Sue Brown, Principal is amazing and has done a fabulous job transitioning MM in the last 2 years.

If you want your child to excel, find another school. Children with any special needs are not well supported here.

My 6 year old daughter was bullied terribly in this school. Regardless of what these teachers tell you, it does go on in this school. My daughter is a very loving and caring child. Thats what they say in her new school.Nadaburg Elementary. they love her there. But Moon Mountain made her appear like she was acting out and being mean to other kids. In reality, she was defending herself. Any child would become defensive in this situation. If your child does go to Moon Mountain, talk to them daily about how their day went, and watch for any down moods. Don't let the teachers tell you that your child is mean until you know why he/she is being that was. They might be defending themselves. WATCH YOUR CHILD!

Overall my satisfaction with Moon Mountain Elementary is above average, yet i am completely satisfied with the teaching curriculum and the availability of the staff, from the principal to the front desks. My best regards to all Moon Mountain staff and students.
