All our 3 children have gone to Mott Elementary. We had wonderful teachers and they made great friends. Only one of my children had a teacher issue in second grade -- her teacher had a baby and she did not return to work once the license was done. Even with all that uncertainty, the school was able to find good substitute teachers that made the situation easier on the children. We have been with two principals and they were both caring and active. The school is organized and the staff are very prompt and kind. And we cannot say enough good things about the families in this school. So many wonderful parents that teach their children well and make our job easier with our own. Even though the school has people from many different cultures and traditions, we find our children are reinforced on the things we teach from their peers who are being taught the same things at home. I strongly recommend this school to anyone looking for a community seeking to raise good humans.

This year has been obviously a tough year with pandemic. As far as handling the transitions between virtual & in-person, the school has done a great job keeping our kids safe with safety protocols. I appreciate the friendly staff opening doors in the car lines every day. For understanding Special needs kids & learning differences, there is a need for better understanding & training. Also the Administration needs to consider how this pandemic could have effected special needs students even more with all the changes and loss this year has brought them. The school could have done a better job in addressing the trauma of this school year instead of blame parent’s if students had behaviors.

My experience at Mott Elementary has been a 5/5. I know my child is getting top notch education With compassion and care. She is safe and welcome. I love love love Mott Elementary.

My son loves school. He's ready to wake up on Mondays and go. The teachers and administrators are phenomenal. I only wish we could hold them in place for the next 5 years. :)

My daughter loves going to school and that in itself is a great sign. This is her 2nd year there and her teachers are beyond fantastic! last year she had Mrs. Cynthia Brown and she was very lucky to have had such an excellent teacher. This year she has Mrs. Smith and I can already tell she hit the jackpot!

Excellent experience! Staff and faculty are willing to help your child succeed. Lots of school pride, and strong character building. The principal is fantastic! Very happy we are zoned for Mott!
