The bullying that happens at this school is unreal. The principal has no idea what happens beneath him and the grade level principals are not fair and do not hold the students accountable. Major culture problem with this school. Constant physical fights at the school, school never tells parents anything.Do not send your child here. It will break their spirit.

I have a child coming from an accelerated curriculum charter school. Going from that highly education based environment to a public school, my child excels at this school. My child is in the 88%-89% in reading and 90%-95% in math without even trying on every single test that the state and district give. I hope to see more classes and support for kids like my child. My child is in the band. Really like their instructor. She's such a nice woman. I've not gotten to know the others as well however they seem to really love music and the kids. The principal seems very nice. The staff I have interacted with are all pleasant. I can not say enough about the coaches my child has had this year. Last year was rough. My child however participated in a program over the summer. Totally new kid. From inside all day to wanting to be in every sport. The coaches have encouraged my child to embrace their abilities and work on the things that they are not as strong in. Though they have only made one official team this year, every try out is met with positive and encouraging advise. They even encourage manners and being good people. I'm very hopeful to see my child on a team real soon. With faith that they will deserve to be on it and will have worked to be there along side coaches who want to have them there. Overall, I am very glad my child is in this school. I'm a little nervous for next years traffic issues. Its already a madhouse trying to get to and from school. Not the schools fault. Its the area.
