- Submitted by other on October 17, 2017Even though this school may be better compared to other alternative schools, it really is of poor quality. The kids that go here are very rowdy and short-tempered and students with quieter temperaments often feel unsafe around them. There isn't enough security. Afterschool, many of those rowdy kids often smoke/do drugs, which affects other students due to secondhand smoke. If you are a Milpitas High student and for some reason you cannot handle/pass your classes, please consider virtual school. Cal Hills will not help. And if you plan on just getting your diploma, better to get your GED then go to Cal Hills.
- Submitted by other on January 13, 2011I went here to continue my high school graduation. I had come from Milpitas High School. MHS was a great school academically, but it was so large and impersonal. I had the ability - I just didn't have the support. Cal Hills was the best school that could have ever happened to me. The school may be full of rough-around-edges students, but we got along just fine. There were no clearly defined cliques or any pretentious judgments from the school faculty. I graduated in 2001 and still feel it was the best decision my parents and I made. I am not a PhD Grad Student with Penn State.
