All Teachers are different. Academic wise high school is very good.

Both of my 2 sons went their entire 4 years here. They both graduated with honors. After high school, they both went on to universities. One now is a Marketing Director for a hi-tech company and the other is a medical physician.

Coming from a student who has been in Milpitas his whole life, I think this school is superior to many in this region. There are occasional teachers who get on my nerves but almost all the staff members are outstanding when it comes to contributing to the school. Many of the students know to strive beyond the "recommended" and are willing to work hard. There have not been many serious cases of bullying with the exception of a few that happened many years ago. Extracurriculars are also very big in the school. More than 1/3 of the student population participate in a sport/ club which makes school truly feel like a community. All in all, the MHS is a great school and I would not change a thing about it except for a few bad teachers.

This is a poor quality school. Most of the counselors and teachers are pretty unhelpful. Some of the teachers often are biased when grading and frequently make errors when posting grades online or in the report card. Scheduling mistakes are common and due to the school being overcrowded, it is VERY hard to fix your schedule. In fact, the reason why most kids attending this school go to community college is due to scheduling mistakes such as not getting the AP class you chose. Bullying is common and low-income kids are rarely disciplined by the school. In fact, higher income students are often looked down upon by some teachers and even administrators! This school is also not disabled friendly. There is no bathroom for the disabled and these students(including injured/ill) often have to manage getting to class by themselves. This school does very little to address those with mental health issues.

Excellent. My daughter went here her entire 4 years and we had a rewarding experience in all respects notes in this questionnaire.

The staff at this school needs to be replaced. For the past 2 months I've been trying to get a counselors appointment (for college applications) and ive tried at the least 20 times and have yet to succeed. The staff here do not care about the students and it's time for that to change. And as for the teachers here, it's a dice game. There's a chance you may get a caring teacher but more likely than not you'll get one who doesn't care about their subject and makes learning awful. I do not recommend this school for anyone mostly because since there's so many students there won't be much attention to your education. I recommend Coupertino High School, I had my brother go there and he absolutely loves it and is well taken care of.

I don't really like anything about this school except for the technology and football program.

I think this place rocks, with the exception of a couple of teachers. Cheryl Rivera ROCKS!

This is a good school. Great teachers and awesome Principal. This school has 2012 API of 825 and progressive improving year over year. I love this school and it is in a great location.
