My daughter studied in Northwood from KG to 5th grade and absolutely loved it every single day. She got very good teachers and had a very supportive, motivating environment to learn every day. The school activities kept her excited throughout the year. Music, PE and other yearly activities are something to look forward to.The 5th grade teachers really prepare students well for the middle school and the emotional/social preparedness sessions(by BUSD) were additional help to the class.The school keeps the parents involved and informed of all activities and development of the kids.Its a safe and supportive place for the child's development. Cant recommend enough.

If you have a special needs kid, run. Run as far away as possible from this school. Your child will not be supported at all here.

Very good school w lot of learning opportunities for kids. Management is too good and teachers itself tries to get a name, then obviously this school stands good

Northwood has been constantly improving with use of technology inside and outside the classrooms, running various programs and serving kids from diverse cultures.

High academics including with good music & PE programs, caring principal, teachers, and friendly environment. This school is very warm and welcoming to a diverse population of students. so far this has been a great school for my daughter.

northwood elementary school is reasonably good. school starting to have more programs after school. teachers have high standard. i'm happy with the direction the school is going.

A most excellent school choice. Wonderful neighborhood. A creative, caring, and dedicated school staff. Talented teachers. Great parent involvement and successful PTA. A marvelous music program.

Working moms and dad:This school offers FREE after school programe for the kids,home work help,and activities everyday until 6:00pm.

I love this school. The teachers are very dedicated and spend much of their own time helping student before, during and after school.
