This school is really bad. I seriously don't want people going here. Principal very mean.

I took my son out of this school because of how much he hated it. He was always getting embarassed and even got sent to the principals office for no reason. After this I took my son out. The Teachers are good at teaching, but the students and the people in the office are miserable. Some random kid pushed my son and then got his arm damaged. Leading to him not being able to write and use his right hand for a long time. Im sorry, but I dont reccomend this school.

The school has been amazing for my kids. Our eldest, who joined the inaugural batch in Kindergarten, was quite the shy one and now in 5th grade is not only academically stronger but has grown into someone bursting with confidence, dreams and ambition. Younger one, who were worried about, turned out to be the curious one, finishing tasks on time and more importantly kind and obedient. Kids wake up excited to go to school each morning. The teachers, the staff, the academics, the discipline—it's all been top-notch, more than we could've hoped for. The most important thing is, as parents we need to feel safe sending kids to school without worry and that has been the case the last few years.We are beyond thankful for the school's impact on our children !!

Teachers are execellent and caring. My child enjoys going to the school and has shown progress academically. One of the best school in Milpitas.

I want to share my deeply disappointing experience with this elementary school. One of the most concerning issues we encountered was their complete lack of special education services, which was a major setback for my family as we have a child with special needs. It became evident that the school was ill-equipped to provide the necessary resources and support for disabled children.In a distressing incident, my daughter went missing during school hours and was later found at a gas station. This incident revealed alarming security and supervision issues within the school. Furthermore, the principal's response was disheartening when they admitted to not having the resources to support my child. The teacher also conveyed the school's expectation for all students to be independent, which left us feeling as though they were unwilling to accommodate special needs students.Based on my experience, it appears that this elementary school may not be the right choice for families with children who have special needs, as they seem unprepared and unwilling to provide the necessary support and care.

My two kids are in this school. We have witnessed the growth of this new school. Teachers are very professional, young and energetic. They always put children's safety at the highest priority.Kids enjoy studying in the new buildings, which were modern and kids friendly. They have some very interesting after school programs for kids who are interested in science etc.Teachers take the academic study seriously, while encourage students to grow in multiple dimensions.

We enrolled our toddler in the new school with some initial hesitations, considering that ours would be the inaugural batch. However, our worries were pleasantly replaced by joy when we witnessed our child's remarkable progress and the strong bond formed through the teacher-parent association. I'd like to give a special shout-out to the PTA for their exceptional efforts in orchestrating engaging events that our child thoroughly enjoys.

My daughter started as a kindergartener and is now going to be in second grade this Fall (2023). We have had a very positive experience so far. The teachers are amazing and the staff is really good too. The PTA is one of the best and provides a lot of activities and treats for the kids. We highly recommend this school. The teachers are caring , very academically oriented and provide good guidance for individual needs of the kids.

Truly the best school. The infrastructure is nothing like the other Bay Area schools. The staff is very curriculum, learning, and result focused while inculcating beautiful human values to the kids. So happy with this school!

Thank you for providing most updated and modern curriculum for kids.. i really appreciate trachers and staff for providing safe environment. Such things surely enhance my son moral morale and encourage him to do more and learn and apply more creative approach. Thank you very much again; this would not have been possible without teacher and Mable Mattos's staff help.

Amazing teachers, modern classroom infrastructure (every kid gets a Chromebook), and massive playground for extra circular activities provide a holistic education to the child.

Mabel Mattos is an amazing school. My kid goes to this school and loves it. The teachers are wonderful. The PTA is very active and one of the best in the whole of California.

I have a 1st grader and a 4th grader at this school, and so far the overall experience has been fantastic. My 4th grader joined this school as a kindergartener when the school opened. We were a little apprehensive about starting at a new school but all our concerns went away after seeing how caring and well organized the teachers and staff were. The school employees a learning community based model which has worked really well. The PTA is rated one of the best in California, this is only possible because the entire community is involved along with the teachers and staff at this school.

My daughter was at Mattos from K-2 and a few months of 3rd grade. She loves the school and still wishes to go back. The teachers are awesome and theie holistic approach in teaching the kids to do their absolute best without the pressure most kids in the Bay Area face makes Mattos a unique school. The community based model of Mattos helps the students in building their social and collaborative skills while learning under all the teachers from their Learning Community.The principal is very goal-oriented and guides the school is the right direction. Although Mattos is not a full school yet (one more year to go!), the consistent good performance of the students is a big testimony to it's caring staff and management.The PTA is also very proactive and involved in bringing the Mattos community really creative and educational virtual programs despite the COVID restrictions. Overall, we loved Mattos and miss the staff and teachers!

my kids goes here, the teachers are very caring. also newer community around here and school is new as well. Classrooms are new and very well organized.
