  HeadsUp! in San Jose has an outstanding grasp on child development, fusing both child-centered and structured Montessori learning with imaginative and creative play. The staff here is incredible, with caring and nurturing personalities and certified Montessori training. Also, the optional Spanish and Mandarin learning opportunities here are huge added pluses. This is just another opportunity to enhance brain development, especially at this age when kids soak up languages like sponges! Shout out to their director, Ryan, who is a highly experienced principal who genuinely understands what families want most for their kids. Parents will all appreciate his open and warm personality and apparent passion to help each individual child be known and flourish in both academic and socio-emotional learning in a loving and nurturing environment! ...More Reviews

  This review is for the San Jose location. This is by far the most expensive day care that I have seen. The teachers are nice, programs are good, my child did learn a lot while being here. But... my child was bitten by another child repeatedly (more than 3 times in a span of two months), on both arms and on the face. When we confronted the school, the director basically swept it under the rug. "Whatever" was the response. We pulled my child out of there. If you don't mind paying over $1500 and have your child get bitten, by all means go for it. ...More Reviews
