Rooney is a fantastic school - I don't think we fully appreciated how wonderful it is until our eldest moved on to middle school. Teachers are incredibly caring and student focused. There is a focus on academics, but not at the expense of individual student needs. Teachers are responsive when there is an issue, proactively address student behavior that is affecting other students, and stay focused on the positive qualities of every student. I will really miss it when my youngest moves up to middle school in two years. Thank you, Rooney teachers and admin, for your incredible dedication!

We are parents to two kids enrolled at the school for the past three years, and our experience at Rooney has been wonderful. From the moment we stepped into the school on our kindergarten tour, the warm and welcoming atmosphere was evident. The teachers are not just educators; they are nurturing, passionate individuals who truly care about the well-being and academic success of each child. Their commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment has made a significant impact on both of our children's educational journeys.We are also impressed by the leadership of the new principal. Under his guidance, the school has seen positive changes and a renewed sense of community spirit. The principal's approach to education and open communication style has created a collaborative environment where parents, teachers, and students work together to achieve common goals.Beyond academics, Rooney stands out for its strong sense of community. The school's events, wonderful PTA, and extracurricular activities have allowed us to connect with other families, creating friendships and a community that extends far beyond the classroom. The supportive network of parents and educators has truly enriched our overall experience. We feel grateful to be part of such a positive and nurturing community that prioritizes the well-rounded development of our children.

Rooney provides a warm and welcoming community for families as well as excellent academic rigor without overwhelming kids or parents. Students received a balanced curriculum, with "specials" including PE, Music, Art, and STEM, which is wonderful. Teachers and faculty are caring and experienced, with impressively low teacher turnover. The PTA is extremely engaged and committed and provides both fun community-building activities as well as tremendous fundraising capacity to support the schools needs, both in and out of the classroom.

Rooney Ranch teachers, support staff and administration are invested in the success of their students and the community as a whole. I have 4 kids at Rooney Ranch and we have had the most incredible experience with each kid. I am thankful for the supportive community and dedication of the school staff.

The faculty and staff are welcoming and courteous. The school creates a family friendly enviroment that appreciates its volunteers regularly. I highly recommend this school!

Rooney Ranch is a great school. The teachers are positive, encouraging and dedicated to their students. My 2 kids completed K-6 at this school and we were very pleased with the academics and extra curricular opportunities offered. The issue that keeps the school from a 5 is that we did not see bullying addressed with any effectiveness by administration or teachers.

I have two children attending Rooney Ranch and it has been a wonderful experience. The teachers, staff and administrators have all been great. They seem very dedicated and driven to make this school a top rated school. Parent and community participation is strong and positive. Can't think of any negative experiences thus far. The class size and budget issues are attributed to lack of funding accross all school districts and this school has been doing an outstanding job considering budget cuts and other funding issues.

Rooney Ranch does a very poor job of addressing bullying. Principal Martinez seems to just sweep things under the rug. She will appear to be polite and professional, but effectively puts things aside. Their academic performance is also over-rated. After leaving Rooney Ranch, my son was effectively 1 year behind in math. If you have any concerns at all about your childrens' social well-being, do not send them to Rooney Ranch.
