The graphic design program and instructors are great for kids without IEPs. It's not really 1:1 (as advertised) in the way that a kid with accommodations for autism who needs this support, is able to receive. The focus is for kids to be autonomous and think outside of the box, and the program moves forward before they can grasp a basic understanding of the programming. Just something to consider if your autistic child has processing needs requiring additional instruction and support.

I attended Warren tech my junior year for fire science and first response. I am going into the emt class senior year and I have an internship with the golden fire department. This school has helped me get my foot in the door to help follow my dreams. Mr. Beckett is the best teacher I have ever had, he taught me so much and helped me grow and be confident that fire fighting is what I want to pursue. My future has been made possible because of Warren tech.

I attended Warren Tech both my senior and junior years. Junior year I was in Matt Beckett's fire Science class and senior year I was in Tim Vaninger's EMT academy at the north campus. I would like to say that the reason that I dispatch for fire and EMS today, and hold an EMT-B/EMR cert, AND have a deep rooted knowledge and passion for the field, is because of these gentlemen. Going to warren tech not only introduced me to my calling, but it brought me real experience I use in my work to this day.

I strongly discourage anyone from enrolling in cosmetology at Warren Tech. I attended WT for the full day hairstyling program during the 2014-15 school year as a high school senior. At first the school seemed great until some of the "favored" students began cheating. When myself and several classmates brought the cheating, which the school supposidly has "zero tolerance" for, to the attention of administration, we were shrugged off and told it was our problem to fix. The cheating continued to go on until those students graduated. In addition, we could hardly ever find our teacher when we needed help. She would disappear from the work floor and not return for sometimes over an hour. If you were not a favorite of hers you would get little to no help if you were struggling. Our tests were ill planned and often sprung on us at the last minute. This resulted in more than one student being run out of the school because they were so discouraged. Many students were verbally abused for laughing "too loud", the teacher even went so far as to maliciously call one girl an "attention freak". Our "instructor", if you could call her that, even made a few girls cry after yelling at them. So, if you're looking for an upstanding high quality school LOOK ELSEWHERE. Be warned this is an awful place to go to school.

I do not recommend goin to warren tech. Especially if you are attending as a college student. During the first week of school, my teacher, Mrs. Flower, took me and another college student aside and told us that we were expendable and didn't mean anything to her class because we were college students. She also told us that if she decided she didn't like us, then she would kick us out. The teacher also neglected to teach anything useful in class and spent most of her time gossiping about other students to other teachers and students. It was also very dangerous to get on her bad side. I was out of school for a week because I was really sick. When I returned she was upset because I was gone for so long. Then suddenly out of no where, she was trying to force me out of the class. When I asked her why she got really defensive and would not give me a legit answer. She then left and brought back 6 security guards and told them to make me leave the school. No longer feeling like I was in a safe situation, I left the school. The security guards followed me and one guy in a golf cart parked directly behind my car and blocked me in! Going there was the biggest mistake I have ever made!
