My child is in first grade and is on his fourth teacher. He may have his fifth teacher before the end of the year. The teacher turnover is great. Not impressed.

We have loved our time at Union Cross. The teachers are kind and caring. The PTA is involved and has plenty of opportunities for families to get involved. They have a positive approach for homework and testing. They encourage their students to succeed and help them where it is needed.

My kids have been here for several years. They have always loved their teachers. They are learning what is expected at their grade levels. When there has been any issue with their learning there has been good communication between the teachers and us. My son has problems with reading comprehension and my daughter has a slight speech delay. They both get extra specialized help in the areas they need it and they have found it beneficial. Homework and class work amounts are as expected. I feel my children are also learning at the levels expected of them with the core curriculum.

Great school, there's no discrimination of clothing and the teachers are awesome and loving, they don't beg for money

My daughter recently started a new school this year and we have found out she is behind in her math and reading. Last year she attended Union Cross Elementary and passed kindergarten with flying colors. We thought she was set up for success, but we found out otherwise. When I look back I am not surprised! One kindergarten teacher quit for personal reasons and the other was brand new. My daughter would come home daily talking about the tv shows she watched in school, when she should of been talking about what she learned. There was excessive homework for a kindergartner also, like a extra hours worth. Sometimes I felt like the teacher and when i asked my daughter if she did the same work in school she said NO!!! If feel like i was making up for teachers short comings. The Kindergarten program did not set my kid up for success and I am curious if anyone else has issues with 2013/14 kindergarten class. and to add to the mess My daughters new school still has not received her records after several requests and they spam email me constantly!!!

no positive comments to report. The only nice things thing I can say are: the one lady in the office was sweet....and Thank GOD that the year was finally over...and we are out of there. Im rating a "one" only because there is not a minus status to give. a family member.
