I would encourage this school to become more diversified in staff, provide more cultural education to staff, and support for teachers who are pessimistic . We experienced an uncomfortable year at Caleb’s Creek. My child’s teacher this year displayed negativity and seldom pointed out anything positive. Although we faced challenges at this school, the school counselor Mrs. Dean is amazing and we are so grateful that we endured the year with her to assist. She brought my child light in a judgemental setting. I recommend a magnet or arts based school. They have a modern approach to teaching and helping children to grow. We look forward to attending another school next year that embodies that approach

We got to see a patriotic presentation done by this school at the NC State men's basketball game half-time show on 11/19/22. I have to say that it was an extremely hopeful and inspiring performance by such a large number of diverse elementary school children taking part in "God Bless the USA" during such a divisive time for our country. Way to go Caleb's Creek Elementary for encouraging such basic unification for what should truly matter and such a great performance! Go Pack!

My son went K-5 and my daughter is still at the school.... I love the school spirit, the positive atmosphere and the teachers. Bad behavior is NOT tolerated and I respect that the school has a culture where respect for others is expected. The teachers are very good and have high expectations of the children. I don't think my children would have done any better if they went to a top private school for elementary.

We have 4 kids who attend this school and each of them had great teachers this year, all very committed to helping our children learn in their own ways. The communication from the administration is constant via phone or text so no one misses out on important upcoming information.

This school is awesome! My two kids attended Caleb's Creek for 3 years. The only reason we left this school is because we moved out of state. Our experience was always positive. On the rare occasion there was a problem it was handled quickly and satisfactory. Both of my kids required special education services mixed with regular classroom and all of their teachers were phenomenal. The school was in constant communication with us even when there was no need. The principle & teachers went above and beyond to make sure my kids had everything they needed to succeed. I'm very pleased with this school!

Wonderrful school!! You can feel the spirit when you walk in the building. The children are happy. The staff is happy. I know this is a safe place for my children.

This school manipulates the reviews on here. It is so obvious. I took my son out to home school him and I suggest others do the same. He was feeling sick all day and the teacher accused him of lying. It is so hard to teach our children to be good people when they are led by such poor examples.

I agree with the bad reviews of this school. The principal and staff put children as their lowest priority. While the building is new and clean, the leadership is lacking. The principal, admin and teachers are only about their paychecks/tenure. Someone needs to clean house and hire teachers who want to educate children. This is one example of why public schools are failing....no accountability and lack of interest from those in charge. My child attended for 2-years and it was 2-years too long.

I have two children that attended Caleb's Creek and they both were happy there. I like the cleanliness, efficiency, and technology. I think a big area for the school to improve on is a school-wide behavior policy. My son often got the worst mark (on the color scale) in his class, but it wasn't from terrible behavior like hitting. This system is not consistent class to class and it did cause some issues with my children feeling confident. In my opinion, the worst marks should only be reserved to behavior that warrants a trip to the principal, like fighting.

I agree with all the negative reviews. Having 3 children & buying supplies makes it hard when you think your done just to be told that you HAVE to pay $15 for supplies the teacher has picked out-I pay $15 for all 3! Not to mention the added stress it puts on children who don't want to get in trouble for not having the "schools supplies". My son has ADHD & the principal told me she would put him on a specific plan for his needs only to find out she never did. They only want money & as far as I'm concerned the technology is NOT an advntage when compared to their old school that we are moving back to that ws a traditional school with the BEST teachers & staff.

My oldest was at another local school for kindergarten and it was terrible so we relocated to Caleb's Creek and could not be happier. Two of my children are here now one in kindergarten and one in first grade, both of them have excelled since changing schools. They keep parents informed with weekly calls about school activities and reminders. There are many activities to get involved in even around a busy parent's schedule and the teachers are very attentive to each student.

The staff of Caleb's Creek has obviously been leaving good reviews to manipulate the rating of this school. This doesn't surprise me one bit and greatschools.org should do something to moniter it. I told the story of how my son was bullied by a group of boys and then brushed off by the teacher and it was magically flagged and removed the next day with two new glowing reviews. The principal is good buddies with all the teachers and will not believe you when you try to complain about how innapropriate and unprofessional the teachers are. Furthermore, the staff is rude the teachers will not tell you anything about your child's progress until after they decide to fail them. Stay away if you can! We are moving out of the area and it is well worth it to change schools.

My children started at Caleb's Creek when it opened. I have now experienced every grade level except for Kindergarten. My kids love CCES as much as I do. One of my children has a severe learning disability and is worked with so well at CCES. He loves going to school now because he feels part of the whole community. His teachers work with him on learning his way instead of what works for most children. I am very active on the PTA and have met so many wonderful parents who give so freely of their time and efforts to make Caleb's Creek Elementary the Best Elementary school around. As far as not following the NC curriculum set up by the state is 100% inaccurate. The teachers follow all guidelines laid before them. I feel school is like life and you truly get out of it what you put into it. I feel blessed to be part of such a wonderful school and more than that family. Thank you to all of the wonderful teachers, faculty and staff who work tirelessly to prepare our children for the future.

I believe these reviews should be fair and should reflect what children and parents are experiencing and what their thoughts are. We have lived in several different states and have experiences with quite a few schools. This school does give me a deep concern. Starting with text books and other teaching materials. They don t seem to exist. I had to contact teachers repeatedly to get some answers. Communications from teachers are something to be desired. And if you need any additional, their attitude is usually your kid is not the only one here. It s your kid, your issue, not my problem. Sometimes, this school makes me wonder are these kind of schools behind the reason that our kids are so behind in math and science compare to other countries!

My child has attended Caleb's Creek since it opened and is a fifth grader. We have had a very positive experience. The school is not only beautiful to look at, it is a family. The students safety and success is always top priority. Fourth grade was a wonderful year for my child. And, the study of NC was outstanding. The curriculum at Caleb's Creek follows the guidelines of the state. You couldn't ask for more dedicated teachers, who truly enjoy teaching. I am very proud to be a part of Caleb's Creek and will be saddened when we move on to Middle School.

My child will be going into the third grade this year. We are so fortunate that Caleb's Creek opened the year she started kindergarten!! The teachers are awesome and the principal is very involved in the school and truly knows all the families. We couldn't be happier anywhere else!!!
