Dr Greer (the principle) dismissed a bullying situation with my daughter and a special needs child. Instead of protecting my daughter she victim shamed her and told her to stop lying on the child despite multiple witnesses informing her of the multiple incidents. The only way I ever got to get her to grace me with a phone call to address it after 4 attempts was to contact the district superintendent. Dr. Greer was rude during her call because she was ordered to call. Situation still didn't get resolved.

My son started this school this year and I have never been so disappointed in a school in my 28 years of being a parent. My child has been bullied by a teacher and treated very unfairly. He was put in quiet lunch just because he was talking to a student at lunch time. I mean seriously are they supposed to just sit quietly all day and not talk to anybody??!! They are children! Then the other day he was sick and he informed his teacher and she sent him to the bathroom. He return told her that didn't help. She then puts my son out in the hallway for the rest of the day alone with school work and trash can!!! Does not call me or even have school nurse in the school! My son comes home crying off the bus very sad he was put out in the hallway by himself and then was sick for the next several days home with fever and throwing up. I don't feel as anybody cares about my boy and so upset I cant change schools till next year. Please if you can do not send your child here!!

My great granddaughter was in this school just the recently ended school year 2022. This is most definitely the worst school I have encountered over the years. Davidson County should be ashamed. From the beginning we knew the teacher didn’t like her. Shame on this so called teacher. She always made A and B grades from Kindergarten to 3rd grade at a Guilford county school. She was bullied most of the year , getting blamed and punished while the party doing the bullying went on as nothing happened. The teacher and the principal are all aware and yet nothing was done. I wouldn’t recommend this school to a dog .

This is my granddaughter's first year at this school after coming from Guilford County Schools. She went from getting a 4 and 5 on her last year EOG's to being Not Proficient this year, despite being on honor roll for most of this year. There is no accountability when it comes to bullying. Two students bullied her for more than half of this school year and it was never addressed. The principal is retiring and doesn't seem to care about what's going on. My granddaughter's teacher does nothing to address the issues in her classroom. I was not expecting such a drastic difference in education being provided in a neighboring county. A school report website shows huge equity disparity at this school with African American children having the highest suspension rates at 11% over all students. My granddaughter had no homework all year.

The administration is a joke! Bullying is NOT handled at all my children constantly picked on and often made out to be the bad guy (my youngest is extremely shy and won’t stand up for himself) my kids have been bullied even by useless teachers it’s awful I wish they would revamp the admin and stop victim blaming when a child is harassed and bullied They also need to get their EC team/teachers a wake up call start following the IEP and adjust accordingly especially when a child’s specialist requests certain. Things for the IEP changes ALL teachers need sensitivity training and to be taught about ADHD/dyslexia/auditory processing delays/sensory issues

Absolutely hate this school. They allow bullying and dont support the kids who have disabilities even if they have written proof from the doctors. They will find any way to harass you and call/text/message you to death but then cant even tell you the truth as to what happened.

My daughter performs well above average and has no issues with learning. Our experience concerning her presents no issues. However, my son has more trouble in certain areas, and regressed with no communication from the teacher that assignments weren’t being completed.

We love Wallburg! Mr. Sparks is so involved and the teachers go above and beyond for our Kindergartener and 1st grader.

Awesome teachers! Mrs. Yandle and Ms. Calhoun are the best! My daughter is very happy at this school....much happier than she was at Hasty.

My daughter goes to second grade and loves school, loves. cheerleading and playing basketball. She has learned so much in Kindergarten and First Grade. She is excited to begin another school year.
