This school is great but the teachers are sometimes rude and need to calm down and get that the kids are kids

Yes, the school is a bit overcrowded and dated, but they are working to bring down the teacher/student ratio and create new teaching spaces/rooms to alleviate the situation. The teachers and Leadership staff are very responsive to feedback and are happy to meet with you on a one-on-one basis. The kids always seem excited in the class and the hallways, and that is a great thing. The diversity learning in the classroom is very refreshing. The lunch menus could use more fresh/healthy alternatives. Overall, I would recommend this elementary school to anyone moving into the area.

The academics are unambitious and little focus on challenging homework for the higher grades. Discipline at school is inconsistent at best.

Cameron park is full of amazing, dedicated teachers and staff who I feel genuinely care about my child. We are moving to another county soon and the hardest part will be taking her out of this school.

My child has been at Cameron Park for two years and has enjoyed both years there. The teachers are uniformly excellent, being dedicated and caring. The school does very well academically considering the diverse socio-economic catchment area. There is also a good school community feel, with regular events planned - like the fall festival, Christmas concert and silent auction. The teachers take part and there are quite a few youngish teachers which add energy and vitality to the school. I thoroughly recommend Cameron Park. This school does have the well deserved reputation for being the best elementary school in the district.

I love Cameron Park. I went there my mom now kids. 1 graduated from high school. 1 middle now. 1 at Cameron Park now.1 going in and another next year. The teachers are the best. The whole school staff are wonderful to work with. They help you as much as possible. They work with the kids to help them on all levels and I love that.

Great school but it is over crowded, they are using a temporary trailer for two fifth grade classes. The county is spending their money to raises the other schools profile so CPES is being neglected

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cameron Park Elementary. I have a 4th grader, a 2nd grader, and a 1st grader. We have been a part of the Cameron Park family for 3 years. The administration is loving and caring. They truly want the best for the students. The teachers are knowledgable, welcoming, and truly love what they do. The specials teachers (art, music, PE, technology) are fantastic. What a great community, family-oriented school.

Our son is not in the 2nd Grade at Cameron Park. It is his 3rd year and what a wonderful experience it has been. All of his teachers have put forth continuous efforts to help him grow. The attention to detail and the caring nature of the teachers are incredible. The teachers as well as the staff are outstanding. We are so happy we chose Cameron Park over a private school. We look forward to the years ahead.
