I thought I would never be able to get a high school diploma let alone go to college, but thanks to the amazing program at Brittain Academy, I attend Guilford College and am on track to become a Crime Scene Investigator sooner than I ever dreamed possible. Thank you Brittain Academy

I love the environment. The way that the curriculum was tailored just to me was amazing. The staff is always there to help and they made my transition to college so easy.

I do not recommend Brittain Academy. This is one of the worst self-paced homeschool programs we've experienced. It's a mail order program that sends simple worksheets via mail to your home that are tailored for students several grades below your child's current grade (to ensure your child will get A+ grades and everyone will be happy). There is no follow-up on assignments and your child can take as long as he or she wants to finish the assignments with no timelines or clear objectives. That is not preparing students for the real world or a real job in the future. I called the owner and requested a copy of our child's progress and the owner refused to provide me with the information saying they were too busy and she hung up on me and has since refused to take my calls. Call them and you will see they screen their calls to avoid talking to concerned parents. We had to hire an attorney to send a subpoena just to get our child's records from Brittain Academy and they still have not responded and are now in contempt. The owner has since kicked our son out of their program. This scam needs to be shut down and put out of business. They offered my 18 year old son a High School diploma for $550 and all he had to do was complete a test at home at his convenience and the test was 5th grade material with multiple choice questions similar to which sentence contains the proper spelling of a simple word. In my opinion, this is the minimal quality of education your child can receive. They will get very good grades for completing work more appropriate for a student several grades lower than your child. I know this because we experienced this program first hand and I saw the materials that were being used. I do not recommend Brittain Academy. It's a terrible "feel good" program that won't get your child into college. Choose another program.
