Amazing school that really prepares students for college. I had a great experience here and ended up getting accepted into every college I applied into.

I'm not sure what happened to this school after the pandemic, really we should say the current pandemic as this school policies refuse to let anyone move on despite the rest of the world returning to normal. The school rewards bullying. Administrators turn their back on issues. IEPs are ignored. Educational Opt-Outs are ignored in favor of indoctrination and working around parents rather than with them.Simply a terrible environment. This school used to be an 8, now it's a 6 and doesn't deserve that.

Glendale High School is a hidden GEM. Do not listen to any other rumors. If you are an involved parent and student, you will be able to have four amazing years at Glendale High School. We have made many friends here whose parents are professionals including doctors, GUSD district employees, local business owners, teachers, attorneys, musicians, city council members, board members, principals, and more. So many amazing events take place at GHS that you will not hear about. You have to experience it to believe what I say. Glendale High School is an comprehensive high school. At GHS there is fun happening every day. If you get to be part of a club, you will know about these fun events. GHS has the most AP classes out of all of the schools in Glendale. At GHS you can be the big fish in a small pond, instead of a small fish in a big pond. This will make you outshine others and stand out in so many wonderful ways. Many students have graduated from GHS to go on to Harvard, USC, UCLA and other prestigious schools. Again, to really get to see the school for what it is, you have to be involved. If you are a student, be involved in a sport, dance, or anything that interests you. If you are a parent, be involved in PTSA or many of the other Parent Clubs that the school offers. We have had a wonderful experience at GHS, and I am sure you will, too!

It's an ok school, some bad teachers, some good ones and some ok ones. It was a fun experience to say the least but it was also a struggle with some teachers.

This school is a GEM in Glendale. Very strong leadership, excellent teaching staff. Arguably the best Math department in Glendale. Strong academics coupled with a vast assortment of clubs, sports and extra-curriculars. As a parent, I have seen this school continue to grow and get better and better every year. If you are looking for a diverse school offering a variety of opportunities for your student, Glendale High is a great choice! Don't let "test scores" fool you. They are only a tiny part of the puzzle. New engineering program this year. Looking forward to seeing what this new school year brings!

I am a student a glendale high and over the three years i have been there spot of things have changed, the school activities AND afterschool and recreational programs have been cut due to fund cuts for schools. Teachers and good and they always try to exeed a student's knowledge. Overall its a great school and I'm looking forward to my last year there.

I am an alumni of GHS. I graduated in 1999 and went there for my 4 years. During my stay at GHS i enjoyed all of the school activities. The teachers were always very receptive and seemed to care about the children that went there. There were always school activites for the kids to participate in. I can't say anything negative about my stay at GHS. This was a great school for me and if it has stayed the same in the past 10 years, i would definately send my children there.
