this is my 3rd year at smith. the teachers are nice but the admin are horrible. they’re all for putting the suicide hotline on the back of the lanyard but don’t want to support kids who go through mental health struggles. they put no bullying on the walls but don’t protect victims of bullying. they teach you about sexual assault but won’t believe you when you say what you went through. they tell you to protect yourself but shame you when you do. i have gone to court over a school fight (i was protecting myself while being attacked) i have been bullied for speaking out about being sexual assaulted (the aps didn’t believe me) i had to leave this year because my mental health got so bad. i would never recommend this school to anyone. i love my friends and my teachers are amazing but the principal and the aps will never protect their students.

This is a very good school. its clean, well mannered students, very friendly and best teachers and staff. My kid is new to this school this year 2024. he love this school. Best of luck Smith middle school! All the very best SABERCATS! I saw female police officer doing grate job there front of the school supporting all the parents to drop off kids and pick up time and the school staff, teacher give their best support early morning and after school pick up time. very well organised school.

Be care if you have a child with a disability even with a 504 plan they will change things up on you. What a disaster it has been. The teachers have been amazing. It’s the office staff that are an issue. I am too the point I will have to move or get a lawyer involved with getting my child what he needs to thrive.

It's a nice school but I feel like the staff don't teach me very well or others teachers ate rude and sometimes disrespectful and I feel like teachers, some staff, coaches need some respect to us most rude teachers at my experience are mostly our ELAR teachers and science so hopefully the staff get better sometime.

Our son has really done well here. The teachers all legitimately care and make themselves readily available to the parents. They allow the students to handle their own responsibilities, and keep the majority of involvement between the students and the classroom. When our son has struggled in an area, they reach out to schedule after school tutoring. In all subjects, we have had a wonderful experience thus far academically.

I have been here for 6th and 7th grade, so I can say that I have had a good Smith MS experience. The school is great, the students are very nice, and the teachers and staff are kind.

Overall I believe the school makes an effort to give the students a good learning environment and what they need to learn the subject matter. I'm happy to have our child attend this school.

This is a great school with teachers that really care and students that actually look forward to going to school.

We moved to Cypress Creek Lakes so that our child could attend Smith MS. We have been so pleased! The academic standards are high and the extra-curricular are great, too! I love the way the teachers communicate with the parents. My daughter says that the students are all nice and well behaved, too.

This is an exemplary school. The best middle school in Cy-Fair! I appreciate that the teachers stay in touch with the parents and follow up often. The 6'th grade assistant principal is awesome!

Bad teachers with a bad way of handleing things, for such a nice area you'd expect the school to be better.

My daughter has been bullied for a couple of years now despite a zero tolerance for this behavior policy. Last week 5 students threatened to beat her up. One said he was going to beat her head in with a bag of hard candy. The principal said it was ridiculous to think this was a threat, the kids were fooling around. I later discovered he was angry at me for calling the school to ask if someone to check on the situation. When I asked to speak to him about the matter he told me he didn't have the time. A threat is a threat Mr. Woodridge. A 1st grader was suspended for eating a pop tart in the shape of an L because it looked like a gun.

This School has some great teachers but a horriable principle. She is type of woman that has the attitude your wrong and right. I wouldnt be surpris f she is prejudice against minorites. One teacher was accused treating an AfricanAmerican boy with prejudice, but these things are kept quite.Smith middle school needs a new principle!

This school is amazing! Very nice staff members, some very hot if I do say so myself, and this school has amazing curriculum. My daughter makes straight A's in level one classes and in elementary, she made C's and B;s. The teaching here truly is amazing. The school could probably work on their lunches as far as lines go and their lockers, but I know the lack of lockers is due to overpopulation. Well, even with it's flaws, I would recommend this school to anyone thinking about Smith Middle School, due to staff and grades. But your kid will say it's boring because there isn't any drama or fights, which is good in my eyes but I guess they like to see that kind of stuff? Anyways, off track. Go Sabercats!

For the area this school is in, this school is below par. While there are some teachers that are great, many are not. Also there are behavior issues and teachers sometimes have problems with classroom management. Administrative staff is unresponsive and unwilling to listen to parent concerns. The school seems to cater to the struggling students and those with behavior issues. There is a small group of involved parents and I used to be one of them. Will be moving my child out of this school for next year.
