Anthony has done nothing to address or improve bullying. We’ve had conversations with teachers, counselors, and APs with no changes. Some of the teachers have openly said to students that they hate the school and district and will not be teaching there much longer. If you’re reading this looking for advice or insight, these are the biggest issues.

My understanding is that there have been improvements since Anthony originally opened. Junior High is a time of transition for most kids. My 2 that go there currently 7th and 8th grade are very much engaged and excelling. Maybe because they are mostly in honors classes. We were concerned originally after reading the reviews but so far we have been fairly impressed and the teacher communication is really great. This neighborhood and surrounding is a great community.

This is a terrible school, kids in this school bring in smoking devices with THC some of them who sell them in the school to other kids, I have brought this to their attention multiple times they did nothing about it. They pick and choose which kids they want to punish even with proof sent to them some kids just get away with while some not, I am not sure if there is discrimination. They do nothing about anything that is brought to their attention. The students encourage each other to fight to where you can actually see videos on Instagram to where the students post and celebrate fights. Their leadership and teacher do not care their excuse well we have 100s of students and we can't do anything about it. There is no counseling support or encouraging kids to do better the leadership is part of the problem. There are videos on Instagram where kids are showing themselves in the bathrooms either fighting or smoking!!! DO NOT EXPECT A SAFE LEARNING ENVIROMENT IF YOU SEND YOUR KIDS TO THIS SCHOOL!!

The best they could do being a new school and many of the students were rezoned to the school so it was a difficult situation for teachers to deal with at times. I think they handled it well. Great experience.

I would rate my experience as a 4. I noticed the low reviews, but as a person that works in the community, all schools have fights. Some schools have a way of not letting that information get out. This school has more student than any other middle school in Cy-Fair because of open enrolling. We tend to report the bad before the good. You take the good with the bad. Nothing is perfect.

A terrible piece of trash school that no one should go to.

We moved out of Towne Lake just to get my oldest son out of this school. While things were **okay** with him (grades were great, teachers liked him, he had friends), hearing stories about the fights, the lock downs, having to be escorted class by class to buses, and the things that would go on in the stairwells were a regular occurrence in our home. There were also the taunts of "white boy ain't got $hit on me" and other race related taunts from two particular kids that couldn't stand the fact that my son was a better athlete. Thankfully he had plenty of friends around that would never let anything happen to him. Point being, I did not pay $500+ for a home just to have my children in a middle school that has these things going on. We moved less than 5 miles away and are incredibly happy with our new neighborhood and schools!

I do not recommend the school. Bullying is a big problem. Not just verbal but physical also.

My son has been constantly bullied. He has stabbed with school supplies, hit by other students, and nearly provoked by another student to fight.

My child loves this school. Most people think it is bad school not anymore. This year have been a big change, because of their new principal. I love their Motto RISE. I t means that the school will RISE.

Warner is an amazing school. Each staff is engaged and courteous with all people. Kids and parents seems happy all the time and involved in a lot of activities.

Amazing school in an amazing neighborhood. I love the teachers and staff. My kids are very happy there and we came from homeschooled elementary. They're slightly ahead of the other students, but not so much they're bored. They LOVE the electives offered and have so many friends i can't keep up with them all in conversation. I could not be happier with how my daughters are adjusting to this amazing public school.
