I will say this my son has never had a F on a report card and received his first F ever. I’m very disappointed in this school. My son is a well mannered child who works hard in school compared to other kids who care less about their grades. He never missed an assignment in this class, didn’t receive anything lower than a B in this class. The last two weeks a teacher assigned a paper where it seems a mix up on due dates or if it was for a grade (obvious some type of miscommunication). Up until 3 days before grades was due my son was passing with a high B. This teacher decides to add the grades to the grade book three days before grades is due dropping the grade to an F. Receiving four zeros for one paper that was broken up in 4 sections. Missing an assignment is not like him and as a teacher knowing if you have a student who’s on top of his work and don’t cause a disturbance, I would think it would cause a red flag to ask him questions or contact his active parent who keeps up with his grades weekly. Nope, she was happy to give that F. This is 8th grade year he gets and F and kicked off the sports team. It’s sad how this teacher could care less. But let it be a student who acted out, cussed and fussed then it they would passing. I can’t wait until my son get done with this school and move on to high school. Parents who care about their kids grades stay on top of these teachers at Hopper. They don’t care.

My wife is an Educater there and I cant remember a day that she hasn't come home upset or in tears. The environment is so toxic. The teachers do not care about the students. They do not care to participate in planning meetings. They are content with the current lesson plan and method even though there is clear evidence that this methodology is not appropriate for student advancement. She has been punched/hit/pushed/cursed/shamed on a daily basis in one way or anther.

I wouldn't recommend this school everyday is a new fight and or everyone is talking about drama and other things that aren't even school related not to mention the fact the teachers are doing nothing about it and the fact that they don't care nowadays and make you use a computer screen for 8 hours is absurd for a child's health I would never recommend this school as for its low average of scores and grades.

This school is the worst... I can't anymore with this school because there's alot of bad things. Milks are rotten apple juices are even rotten. I found hair on school lunches. Fights every day. aps principal teachers don't do nothing but make even more chaos. I'm going to Anthony middle school after this year it's a terrible school

Bad school with bad faculty. This school does not care about your child's education. Teachers and the rest of staff can't control students and it shows.

At the beginning I like this school, we'll I'm kind of old fashion now quote me if I'm wrong when my child started hopper he was on the honor roll but these last sixth weeks he start slacking off not to mention he's I in level 1 classes only one teacher was concerned a bout his grades the rest never call and said we r concerns because we know what he cable of doing. So my question is teacher don't call anymore or do I suppose to call I guess everything a paycheck now

By far the worst school we've experienced in the past six years. Being a military family we move often and I'm sorry to say Hopper is in need of serious help.
