I had two children in 2 different grades and we were lucky that they had great teachers but when it came to the bullying the administrative team did nothing one time pretty much saying that my daughter had lied about one of the incidents. The last meeting with her was just a waste of time she was making faces and huffing and puffing whenever I was talking. If your child gets bullied be sure that nothing will be done. I'm not only saying this from my experience but from another parent that was going through the same this school year.

Seeing my child nearly cry when he had to go to school breaks my heart. McFee APs make promises, but there is never follow through, especially with bullying. Communication was non-existent and very few teachers care or are equipped to do anything. Supervision outside of the small classrooms is seriously lacking. Bullies are beating on other kids (my son has a scar on his back from being pushed into a disaplay board because his bully "needed to take out his aggression"). Nothing was ever done by the teacher or administration and the bullying and aggression only got worse.

I love the atmosphere at McFee!! Everyone is so nice and ready to assist. I am glad that my kids are zoned to this school.

My kids had attended Mcfee last three years, and I am totally happy with the teachers and the school facilities. My kids are very happy. When I go to the school, I feel happy to see how teachers and other staff are so welcome that you feel like family. They are willing to help and teachers are always open for any problems you may have with your kids either at home or at school. It is a great School.

My kids did not do well here. Constantly bullied and disrupted during class. My sons would come home and say things like " i cant learn here the kids are too bad in class" "they stand on the desk and yell and throw stuff" " and the teachers dont do anything about it". One of my sons somehow got locked outside while the rest of the class was inside. He was unattended and unaccounted for a half an hour. When we called to talk to the principal she blew us off and said I cant (dont) believe this we have never had that kind of problem before. It was also difficult to communicate with her and the teachers as they did not respond promptly. We ended up pulling both our kids out. When we started with the curriculum we bought for their grades they hadnt even started that kind of work. They are way ahead of what the school is teaching now.

If I could pick the perfect school for my kids, this school would come closest to it. If you're reading these reviews to find out more about the school, you need to ignore the couple of them that are negative. Those people must just have an ax to grind an you gotta remember that there are always people who will be unhappy in any situation. Anyway the staff at this school are fantastic and are willing to work hours and hours with any child and parent. They have a tough job to do since so most of the kids are poor and their parents aren't able to help out much, but that doesn't stop these teachers from expecting the best out of their students. What makes it even better is that the teachers and other staff expect that much and more out of themselves. What else could a parent want? I wouldn't want my kids at an other school.

I moved here 6 weeks after school had already started and even though my kindergartner was transferring from another Cy Fair ISD school, it was a world of difference! I have been nothing but pleased and impressed with the staff and expectations. The counsellors are amazing and very supportive and my son's teacher is one of a kind. She keeps me informed and encourages open communication. She also has high expectations for learning and keeps me and my son challenged every day which I love. The school isn't located in an economically wealthy part of town but you would never know that by the level of commitment to making sure that the kids are treated equally with respect and given every opportunity to succeed.

Very pleased with this school. My oldest daughter is in 2nd grade and has attended since Kindergarten. My youngest is in Kinder this year. Communication with teachers and administration has never been a problem. Emails are returned promptly. The music program has been surprisingly excellent.
