The passing period time is a total of 5 minutes and its more than enough time to get from class to class as most are right next to each other. Bullying is a normal thing happening all around the school and staff are aware but do not do anything about it and are more worried about giving students detentions for tardies than their students wellbeing. Most teachers do not take the time to teach or help a student about what they are learning when absent which effects grade very much. Overall, the school is okay, but they could make it better.

My daughter started going to this school this year. (2020/2021) I have found every staff member that I have come in contact with to be very friendly and helpful. I can't say enough good things about the staff. My daughter feels that the teachers at Hanover Central Middle School treat students better than the teachers where she used to attend which was at a Christian school. She also feels they genuinely care more about the students. Unfortunately, we are moving. I would highly recommend this school!

I have been going to this school for half a year now, and I am MORE then happy to go. I enjoy the school itself and the teachers are all kind and helpful. My teachers are not too giving with homework, but also make sure the students are learning, and that the students grades go up to at least a C on report cards. I got threatened by another person in my class, and a teacher overheard me telling my friend; the teacher told guidance and had a talk with both students and parents and weekly has me come to guidance to make sure I am doing well. Would recommend this school! :)

It is not the best, but my experience is more or less an ok. The current 3 minute passing periods are very flawed. I cannot use the bathroom and then grab my stuff for the next class. I always have to go to the bathroom in the middle of class now. It is not my problem that I am drinking lots of water so I can be healthy, unless you want to encourage dehydration. I don't want to be picky, but the fountain water in the 8th grade hallway tastes bad and it almost tastes like metal, or maybe it's just me.

Horrible administration. horrible concealer Horrible food..buses are not safety, they sit 3 kids on one sit so they don't have to used more buses.

This school is horrible. Its overcrowded and too much bullying and the staff does nothing about it. Saint John needs to build their own school. What happened to back when it was 2005 and it was just Cedar Lake kids? Maybe if it was just Cedar Lake kids attending this school, It would be better.
