Starting our second year at Hilton, the principle is amazing and sets a great tone for the school. Couldn't be happier

Horrible experience for my child. Finally switched schools . One star because he did have one wonderful teacher. Blamed my child for learning difficulties , principal and teachers ridiculed him in front of classmates, was told by teacher he was lying when he would come home crying saying everyone thought he was dumb.Teacher told me he was trying to "work the system". He was 6 at the time. Finally moved schools ,I have a happy child with no problems now. Principal was insensitive and counterproductive to his success.

The school is doing well with instruction and the art of teaching and learning. The administration may not be warm and fuzzy, but things are run effectively, and at least one sub-par teacher let go. The vast majority of the teachers are fabulous. The school, and the district as a whole, could use a better, more cohesive plan for use of technology at the younger grades. This building does not offer foreign language, and the district needs to update their policies on K-8 foreign language. Finally, the school could use more opportunities to students above grade level to excel further.

As a parent of 2 children who attend Hilton, I am very pleased with their education that they are currently receiving. The teachers are dedicated to helping all children reach their potential. My children have excelled in all areas and I feel like they are always prepared for the next grade. Hilton has a very active PTO which has helped provide many extra curricular activities and educational programs which the students enjoy. My children come home from school happy and that makes me happy.

We would rate this school very unsatisfactory! It is poorly run, has no prinicipal . The school has a few teachers who are completely unsatisfactory and the principal is not in the building to help with anything! It is overcrowded because of the closing of another elementary school. A good majority of the students are poorly behaved and have anger issues. It is a relection of the type of families that attend here. If your child is having a bad classroom experience do not expect the principal to help you, she is gone shopping!

I have a kindergartner at Hilton. The classroom teacher and all of the teachers for specials have been wonderful. I can't rave enough about the special ed services and staff at Hilton. We are so pleased with the advancements and confidence that our child has gained this year!
