My children have done excellent at Ccs. It is a kind caring environment, where my kids have grown academically, spirituality and have had athletic opportunities they would not have had elsewhere. My children have made wonderful friendships and the kids are kind and accepting of each other. There has recently been new leadership hired in the school. The new head of school is friendly and has made some extraordinary additions to our school in just a short period of time. We are so excited for the upcoming school year! Come and check it out.

Cornerstone Christian School has been such a blessing to my children who attending through 8th grade! They were very prepared for honors and ap classes at the high school level! They built characteristics of responsibility and independence due to the amazing teaching staff! They were involved in many sports and clubs that CCS offered as well! Most importantly, we are thankful that we found a school that provided a Biblical foundation that strengthened our teaching at home. We couldn't ask for a better start in educating our children!

Please check the school website to see that some comments from others on here are false. This school offers several sports and activities. The principal has a masters degree in school administration/educational leadership, and the assistant principal has many years of teaching experience in BAS and a masters in reading. We have verified that enrollment is up almost 20% this year. These are just three examples.As parents of two students who attended Cornerstone from kindergarten through 8th grade, we couldn't be happier with the spiritual focus, academic excellence, and family atmosphere. The teachers were amazing, and we can't say enough about them. Both our children were prepared academically for high school far beyond their high school peers. If we were to do it all again, we would make the same decision. Cornerstone is an amazing school!

This school is a homeschool equivalent at best. It is not academically challenging and limits creativity. If you are looking for something for young children it can be comforting if you attend the Cornerstone Church to have your child here. If you are not a church member it isn't a welcoming place. Additionally it does not follow proper protocols for enrollment and allowed a child to be enrolled without the consent of both parents in a shared custody arrangement. The middle school is a waste of time and money as there are so few children and next to no extra circular activities. There is only a basketball team. In other words the children aren't learning basic social skills or getting appropriate emotional development within a peer group. Overall our experience with the school was less than spectacular to start and grew into a nightmare experience as we saw that children in other schools were farther ahead academically.If you are looking for a bubble, this is but it will not open collegiate doors or prepare your child for life in the larger world.

As a former CCS parent and staff, I'm shocked this school is still operating. They have lost 40% of their students in K-8 over the last 3 years. The administration is sub-par and teacher turnover is extremely high. The school does not have enough funding to provide competitive academics or enrichment programs. The curriculum hasn't been updated in over 5 years. The principal was the school's music teacher and the vice principal was a classroom aid who supposedly had a reading specialty background. Ironically, over 1/3 of the early elementary students over the past 3 years have required outside tutoring and reading help due to falling below reading level and struggling. Stay as far away from this 'school' as possible.

We moved our 3 children to Shepard of the Lakes last year and are so glad that we did! Cornerstone is way behind in academics and offers very little by way of enrichment. The arts are offered only every other week and the kids and families at CCS are very clique. The newly formed PTO is an excuse for the mom's to drink and gossip, not quite what you'd expect from a Christian School.

My three children went to CCS and thrived on their loving, family atmosphere. All three were very well prepared for high school both academically and spiritually. From my gifted child to my struggler, all three children were nurtured and loved at CCS.

Cornerstone Christian School has been a blessing to our family! CCS provides us with individualized learning, up-to-date technology, extended care, sports, clubs, Spanish...even a School of Fine Arts program! My children experience outstanding academics, caring teachers, and a safe environment. Most importantly, my children are able to build a strong relationship with the Lord throughout the entire day! My family is so grateful for the endless opportunities at CCS!

We have been at Cornerstone, CCS, for almost 9 years. We recently graduated our eldest daughter last spring. She recently thanked us for sending her to CCS. Because of her education, she was able to take honors classes at Hartland High. The friendships she developed at CCS were solid and real. Her Christian education has developed her into the person she is today. This "thank you" from our teenager was well worth the investment!

my review speaks for itself, i am a freshman now and i was not really prepared for highschool cause all ccs did was teach me that everything in life was going to be ok, like all disney movies.

Outstanding! As stated earlier, we're blessed to have our three children enrolled at Cornerstone. The focus on faith, academic excellence, citizenship, conduct, sportsmanship in athletics, conduct, etc. is awesome! Deciding in prayer to budget accordingly and enroll our kids at CCS is one of the single-greatest decisions we've ever made! We pray the Lord continues to bless CCS!!!

I have been so pleased with my girls going to this school! The small class sizes and individualized attention from teacher and staff make such a difference. I thank God for CCS and what they have done for my children!

Cornerstone Christian School is a wonderful school that enriches children spiritually and challenges them academically. It is a wonderful environment. The staff is amazing and the children love going to school. I have two children at the school and have been there for 3 years. My children feel valued, they feel safe, and I feel good KNOWING they are getting an extraordinary education by teachers and a principle that truly care about them. Cornerstone not only has fabulous academics, they have an amazing Art Instructor, a wonderful Music Director, and plenty of activities all year for the children to be a part of. Children as early as 2nd grade can take part in Drama Club, which my daughter loves! I have nothing but good things to say about the school, the faculty, and the families at Cornerstone Christian School. I thank God everyday that my children have the opportunity to be a part of this school.
