Teachers focus on social emotional learning so kids feel heard and safe. There are several family nights per year with free food, learning and resources.Issues: people drive way too fast on the street and the school does not have any crossing guards so it does not feel safe. Some parents are not courteous and block people - but without admin representation outside, no one corrects them.

My daughters both read above thier grade level my eldest at a 9th grade level. this is due to us not her school last year as she joined the 4th grade we were reminded to teach them to hand write things because they only use ipads at school. how do children get to the 4th grade and not get taught how to write with a pencil. they also dont help with bulling as my daughter was harassed and often hit by a boy classmate . After being brought to the schools attention they told my daughter it was because he had a crush on her, way to go perpetrating domestic violence. The only reason it ended was because i gave her permission to hit back in self defense. While this school has amazing teachers sprinkled through the school they are far outnumbered by the incompetent district and school leaders.
