Concord High School has come a long way. Great staff and safe campus. It's certainly heading in the right direction.

Outstanding. All three of my children graduated from Concord High School, and continued on to successful college experiences, including UC Berkeley and UC Davis. My eldest graduate is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Molecular Biology/Genetics and her interest in science and pursuing the doctorate are directly the result of the excellent and inspiring teaching staff at Concord High. Students are encouraged to support one another, to be critical thinkers and to contribute to their fellow classmates' success. My review is based on over 8 years of experience, including a student who needed some special accommodation and Concord High excelled in insuring that each student had the academic knowledge, pratical thinking skills and social consciousness required to excel.

Concord High has a friendly, good-natured, independent, and responsible student body. Band and choir are both strong programs, and while the school has a bad rep for drugs I doubt they're worse there than at any other HS in the district. Academically this school is terrible. To get to college you have to be extremely self-motivated. The college counselor is knowledgable and excellent at empowering students who want to go to college, but outside of her office you will be the sole force pushing yourself towards higher education, not your teachers, administration, or classmates. Teachers care a lot about their students, but classes are still unproductive and don't progress much through the curriculum. AP and Honors classes are more conducive to learning but not especially challenging. I graduated several years ago and went to a competitive private liberal arts college, and found that my high school education had not prepared me at all for even the most introductory college courses. However, that also shows that it's not impossible to get to a four-year college from Concord High if you know what you want (and live in the college counselor's office, work hard, and find financial aid).

Concord high school is a elite school which alows cultral diversity. It also is filled with caring staff. The robotics program is the only one in the district and is an amzeing program. Exspesally when it comes to the Boo Belly project. (it is a robotics thing) Also the physics class is filled with students willing to learn. It is lead by a great teacher who makes learing such a complex concept a fun exspreance. There are lots of fun labs to learn like the egg drop and the flying pig. This is a great school and any student would be lucky to get into this school. Theis is also a great sports program in whixh we lead the school to glory. Go Concord High!!!!!!
