Both of my kids go here and they are doing an amazing job preparing them.

Both of my children attended Shadow Hills. It is a wonderful school with a close family feel. My children excelled at SHS. They both participated in the art and music program with my youngest learning piano for all 5 years! The teachers and staff are amazing! The PTA is very involved and have great programs for the students throughout the year. I feel very blessed by the excellent educational foundation my children received. They have fully prepared them for Middle School.

I'm an 8th grader who attended Shadow Hills all five years. We all have our own opinions, but I truly believe that it is the best school to go with! At my middle school, I've seen many students suffer and fall behind in their classes, while everyone from Shadow tend to stay on top of things. The teachers there got to know me very well, and I felt free to talk to them whenever I had a problem. They also handled the situation like your own parent. One had even said to us, "You are like my children and I will treat you like my own son or daughter." It was a very sad day when we all had to split paths, and I still look back at my last years at Shadow Hills as my most memorable years. Extraordinary school!

Sadly Shadow Hills has really gone downhill. My child attended this school from 1st until 4th grade. He has always done very well with classmates and teachers. This year I noticed every paper has a negative note from his teacher along with her being rude to students and making school unpleasant. When I addressed the situation with the teacher she danced around it and we are not impressed with how this situation occurred and was handled, The principle runs two schools (Shadow Hills & Creekside which is next to Shadow) I truly feel this school suffers because of this. This school definitely has potential but currently is lacking. Speaking to many other parents we believe shadow hills is in some need of fresh enthusastic teachers and its own principle. Bottom line,.. Top Pros... easy drop off and pick up great parent involvment great school spirit and fun days (PJ day, crazy hair etc..) Top Negatives Cafateria often runs out of listed foods and serve same things several times a week. Pricipal runs 2 schools full time which leaves the school often without a pricpnciple. teachers who seem to have lost the drive and realization of what an impact they are in their students lives,

I am very pleased with this school. Both my kids have attended for the last 2-3 years. Teachers, staff & parents put in A LOT of extra effort to allow the kids to have more opportunity with art & music. Keyboarding similar to piano, art & always and or most of the time offered at the school for no cost. Parents are very involved here.

I love this school! The Principal and all the staff, teachers and even the custodians are awesome. They go the extra mile for your children and encourage all parent involvement. Truly a family in itself. My children did not want to leave.

Shadow Hills has provided a quality education for my son. The teachers are caring and work with students & parents to help the children get the most out of this phase of their education. The whole school district has suffered financially with budget cuts and everyone seems to pull together as a team. Art, Music, Gardening, educational assemblies, leadership, and phys ed. are some of the key strengths. I recommend this school!
