My oldest is in 5th grade, we have had a good experience. We are continuing to send our younger child here for elementary, even though we have several other choices for schools in the area. As a professional educator, this school was my first choice out of many in the area!

We moved from a nearby district and have been very happy with the school and staff. The only thing that we dislike is that there is no playground at all for the elementary school. While I know that the entire city is very small and space is limited, it still is sad to see a school with no playground at all.

Our little guy started attending for a couple of years now, and we are highly impressed from the Principal down to every teacher and office person we’ve had the pleasure of meeting. They all really care about the kids. We are shocked by how much he is learning and starting reading in Kindergarten. They must be doing something right because there are kids from outside of Whiting whom go here and families that want a spot to open so their kids can go too. My hat is off to this school!

Very pleased with the school, children are well behaved due to the no tolerance of disrespect and uniformity. Zero tolerance for gang like type behavior. Keep up the great work Whiting.

I have a gifted child that exceles in this school district. However i also have a child that needs extra help with reading. The school accepts no responsibility for their lack of caring. They make no effort to help her and when an assignment takes her extra time to complete, they refuse to accept it. I am moving my children out of this district. I'd advise the same.
