I would NEVER recommend this school to anyone. It's very unfortunate for my family that we live in the district and have no choice but to send my children to this school. The assistant principal is useless. She dismisses any concerns. The way she not only treats students but parents too is appalling. The teachers are just terrible. I go up to voice my concerns and get shut down. Nothing ever gets done about constant bullying verbal or physical. The teachers have obvious favorites and it's a shame it's the worst kids that are babied. As for the teaching, I voice the struggles my children have and they don’t help them or teach them, they just move on like nothing. Not enough monitors at recess. I've seen kids walk outside the gates during recess with no one even noticing. Kids locked out of the buildings for who knows how long since no adult is with them. This is the worst school l've ever seen. Unprofessional. Unorganized. No one ever knows anything when you call and ask questions about field trips or spirit week. I'm already dreading the new year and having to deal with the same garbage as the previous years. They need new teachers, new assistant principal, hopefully with people that care about our kids.

This school is great. I have a soon to be 3rd grader and soon to be sixth grader, both love their teachers and the administration there is truly elite. Truly one of the best schools in Chicago.

Great school! I'm proud to have my 2 kids in a level 1 school. And everyone is very nice and friendly.

I have a 4th grader, 1st grader and pre-K and i love this school teachers are very involved. Even though the school is over crowded the teachers always make sure they help students and parents whenever it is needed. working at a daycare with kids from nearby schools you can tell the difference in academics by the homework and knowledge of the students.
