Both of my children have attended this school. My oldest had Mrs. Beckmann in fifth grade, and now my youngest has her in third grade. When I say that Mrs. Beckmann is the best, I mean it. Any student that has had her will tell you that they love her. My fifth grader had some behavior issues, but she was able to work with her and get my kid to actually want to behave and want to do better academically. My third grader is loving her class. Mrs Beckmann expects the best from the kids and the kids want to be the best for her.

We have been thrilled with our experience at WCES so far. The teachers and support staff have gone above and beyond to support our kid. They have grown so much academically, emotionally and socially.

The teachers and support staff are absolutely amazing. So very lucky to have such a great school so close to where we live. My kid started Kindergarten and we couldn't be happier.

My Children have been going to this school since they opened and yes there has been a few times usually the first week of school that the car line is 3 hours. So that is definitely true. Academically they are okay. Nothing special. They don’t really provide much help with your child until they are failing. And it is hard to get a hold of anyone communication truly sucks. Front staff does not really help. Sometimes you need to get in Touch with the school and it takes calling for hours until you can get the front desk all other communication is via email. We have had bully situations for 3 years and the school does nothing. There have been some amazing teachers here but also some trash ones who don’t do much but tell the student it’s a them problem. I’ve had multiple meetings due to this. If your child needs special help that is pulling teeth you get put from person to person with no results in how to help your child. Why am I still at the school? My children are zoned for Chester elementary and I was advised this trash is better than that one.

Car line from hell!!! Prepare to waste half your day waiting in line this mess

Academically the school is good. It’s the pathetic excuse for a car line that is the embarrassment. Didn’t pick up my kids until 630 pm. They were starving and neglected. I was there at 230 PM and couldn’t get my children until 630. What a sad embarrassment this process is.

When you have a w situation as a parent front desk staff does not help. Lack of communication and coordination with administration/front desk office, with teachers and parents. Most of the teachers are good. Assistance principal has a rude approach to the parents. The administration don't care about the students needs.

My son started kindergarten last year. He loves the school. I was very impressed with how much he learned in a short period of time. He just turned 6 and almost reads fluently already! The classes are very structured. Great school overall. Nice atmosphere.

My 5 kids loved this school. They left because they had to but beg me to go back now. I wish they never left. The teachers really cared and that is what my kids needed and the gifted program was great also. They gave my daughter who needed extra reading help lots of attention. I would recommend it to anyone! Thanks WCES!

Our family loves this school. We will be beginning our third school year. The teachers go the extra mile to ensure the students are learning while having fun. The I-ready and Accelerated Reader programs allow the students to progress at a pace that continuously challenges them regardless of grade level. The principal runs an organized and efficient school and is responsive to each student's needs. We are also pleased with the art and music programs and feel they nicely complement the academic curriculum. Our son started learning the piano this past year. This school is a hidden gem in our community.

WCES is awesome because the emphasis is on learning. It is amazing how helpful the teachers, principal, staff, and parents are to everyone. They care and it shows!!!! They took in extra students due to remodel of one of the schools and helped them to adjust.
