The school principal is not caring and her and her staff members are extremely unprofessional . If you have a kid with special needs. Do not send him to this school. They discriminate against kids on the spectrum. They only care about kids who can keep up the school average grade A. They overwork children with homeworks and extra assignments. The ESE director (directed by the principal) and staff’s main job is to collect hourly data and behavior and note them so they can compile information to update IEP placement so they can easily remove kids from general education program . I do not recommend this school. My child was very unhappy , everyday he told me that he does not want to go to school. Where school should be a great place of learning and thriving. This one was IT

This school was quite unpleasant from start to finish. The principal was very uncaring in her dealing with parents and children. Too many kids in one class, some not having seats. Teachers were being switched constantly, one class had about 3/4 teacher in one school year. Nothing gets done about bullying. The line is ridiculous, you have to have at least an hour to spare to sit and wait. The teachers were nice, I will give that.

To me, the school has improved tremendously and they are still improving, as a new school always has growth and things to change.My daughter has been in this school 3 years and this was her best year so far, great teachers, great administration support, and the parents that are involved do make the difference. Yes there are some situations as teachers leave or get fired as many school are going through the same situation. Some parents want things their way but they learn it is not about them but about the children, therefore some will not be happy about how the school handled things, but if someone is not happy the easy way will be go somewhere else. 3 years ago the grade my daughter was in had a a couple of issues but administration learned from it and made changes, and we are moving forward every year. Preparatory (middle school) this year was amazing for my daughter, I am than to every teacher she had because they were open and welcoming to parents that were involved and ready to help. The assistant principal Mrs. R. Caring and loving heart is amazing as well as Mrs. P. She got the kids all excited for the next year to come. Praying for next year (24-25) to be better than the last one (23-24).

My kid is going for 2nd grade 3 times teachers were changes and last teacher lack teaching skills.

Administration is cold and unconcerned with needs of students. Teachers are required to push to only teach what is tested on and the school is very testing scores driven, not caring or helping students with any other needs or concerns.

Sadly, this school only cares about high achieving, non IEP needing learners. They make everyone else miserable, try to force them out, or move so quickly through material that students are left behind. Every year this school has been open, there has been at least a 30% turnover. Admin is miserable to work for, and if you don't fall in line, you become a target. It's one of the most hostile environments. Administration applies favoritism as a means for keeping staff in line. Anyone outside of the clique is ostracized, nitpicked, and spoken to in the worst condescending manner. Admin are a bunch of mean girls that pick on both staff and students alike.I don't recommend it for a teacher or student. Class sizes are huge. In k-5, some classes have nearly 30:1. Grades 6-9, have over 30:1 in each class. They can't keep enough staff employed to teach them. There are much better schools out there. Avoid this one.

Great school. The teachers are wonderful. My child is learning so much and loves everything about this school.

High teacher turn over rate for good reason & teachers volunteer to withdraw. Students are not held accountable for their actions. The PE & Music teacher make very little effort. The admin is a one man show (ie Mielke).
