I can write a lengthy book about how horrible this school is and I went to school in inner city Cleveland! The teachers do not care about these students especially minorities as well as the administration! The principal yells well I’m Hispanic but it is clear she has some bias judgements and treatment of students as well as other administrators! The bullying at this school is horrible and they take it lightly while making the victim the offender for telling in my opinion because they are lazy about the paperwork of it all and biased too. My child reported he was getting bullied by a gang of 3 boys and they said it didn’t qualify as bullying that they found my child to be the bully of the 3 boys. It did not make sense at all! Now this year one kid is picking on him and he made my child hit his head on the concrete ground and brick wall unconscious on camera I had to take my child to the hospital for a CT and they gave the kid a few days suspension in a zero tolerance county! He should be expelled! Then a day later they come and say my son is getting in school suspension for the incident after the boy told them my son was annoying the boy and very competitive. The principal claims they were horseplaying at first which is very far from the truth! And a lie that was not on camera! The boy was picking on my child and got physical because he’s annoyed by my son, which is on camera! Him and my kid are not and have never been friends to play! This kid chased my son last school year too! And now he’s telling my son friends he’s going to beat my son up which was also reported and they have done not one thing about! I hate this school and so does my son! The staff is horrible! The kids are out of control! There are so many other moms (minority) I know with similar issues I’m having with this school the kids and admin some of us are nurses in the community! My charge nurse (minority) son gets bullied here too! It is very sad! The bullied gets made to be the bad person every time! Even if they tell they suffer consequences! So I have told my kid to defend himself for now on because what is the point! The school does nothing and you still get in trouble!

As a current student, I can say that it's not perfect. Most of the teachers are good, but some of them seem to have given up. The bathrooms are currently closed (except for passing period) due to kids vaping/smoking in them. Fights do happen every now and again but it's just people swinging their arms hard and fast for like a solid 1-2 minutes.Less than half of the work is online for most people. Most of the students don't seem interested in learning because, why should they? Most of the work given isn't super engaging.I will not recommend / not recommend this school due to it's very "half and half" nature.

This school has fights and a lot of bullying. They seem to shrug off the issues with a "well kids will be kids attitude. "Our bus driver called a kid "a dumb N " word and was able to continue working because they have no replacement for her. The kids can't use bathrooms at all during class as its not safe. There are mostly no soap dispensers because they came keep the kids from breaking them?? It is out of control. Children deserve to go to school and learn with out fear. There are groups of kids really like gang members looking for kids to bring to certain group leaders so they can beat up kids.School needs major overhaul. Lack of leadership...They give zero homework and send nothing for parents to review.My son has 2 teachers he really likes otherwise he says they seem angry and like they hate their jobs. Very sad. My son is an A and B student simply because he applies himself.

Great school. We moved to Wesley Chapel last year and I cannot be more impressed with the school. The teachers are very implicated and care about the students. The level is much higher than Hillsborough county.

My daughter was so excited to attend Weightman she never missed the bus The counselor was very caring and always available. We are so happy we decided on weightman the best decision I could have made for her

I am a former student who graduated from TEWMS in the class of 2013-14. This school is unbelievably horrible. The bullying problem is terrible. i attended TEWMS 6-8 grade, and every single day of school i hated going because of the students rude humor. i walked into the campus with my head down everyday because i got bullied so much. the staff does absolutley NOTHING about it. they claim they have a strict bullying policy but they dont. Its not one student that bullies others, its multiple. theyre just rude and expect studnts to look and act a certain way to be accepted. those reviews about weightman being good is a joke, i would know being a student there for 3 years. weightman sucks and the bullying problem is tremendously bad. Teachers obviously choose favorite students and do not do anything about the annoying class clowns who disturb others from learning. Weightman has rules, but students break them all the time and they do nothing about it. Lots of problems of kids bringing weed to school. Dress code is DEFINITELY broken by students, girls show up to school in shorts and see-through shirts etc. just terrible. dont send your child here.

This is a really great school. Being a first year gifted student in seventh grade, I really enjoy the overall result. The administration is friendly and school condition is good. Many of the teachers, especially the gifted teachers for 7/8, are really great. There's lots of sports programs that include basketball, football, volleyball, soccer, etc. Most students at the school are friendly and the CTE courses in 7/8 are good so far this year. The locker room (for boys) has showers that don't work, so make sure your child has deodorant, and I didn't like my elective for Music because it was a bit boring, but I think it's better this year with a new teacher that I like as I'm in band. The band program is great was a good instructor and the art program is okay, but the teacher is not liked by many students who attend, primarily sixth graders and sometimes 7/8 students. Overall, I highly recommend this school.

This is an awesome school. They really care about the students and it shows in their classroom.
