Cuthbertson High School touts itself as a "10 rated" school, but in the two years we have been there (and years at Cuthbertson Middle School prior), I have yet to see evidence of this. If you have a child that has no health issues whatsoever, they maintain perfect attendance at all times, and they are a star athlete on the track team, then this is the school for you! If you have a child with any health issues, learning disabilities, or other matters that might need a little something extra from the school, then you should steer clear of this toxic place. Our family uprooted our lives to go to this school with the thought that it would be a great place for our child, but as each semester and each year goes by, we become more and more disappointed. Many of the teachers there do not care and are just flat out nasty, the administration is abysmal, and their athletics are subpar versus peer schools in the area. Faculty and staff openly disparage and humility kids with disabilities in front of other classmates and they reward terrible behavior from staff, students, and parents. If I could go back in time, I would have never sent our child to this school!

Where there are amazing teachers, there are horrible ones. The horrible teachers at Cuthbertson High School pick out students with accommodations and make sure they are in the best environment to fail or barely pass their class. Teachers and staff at this school frequently ignore attempts at communication from students. If there is an issue with a student, the student is not spoken to first, but the parent is given priority. These students are upcoming college students or adults. They should be treated with similar respect. Teachers who strive to communicate and create a great learning environment with students are reprimanded by staff. Students are not treated like fellow human beings but inferior beings that are incapable of making rational decisions. Bullying is not dealt with quickly enough and this has been an issue since Cuthbertson was first created. I graduated June 2023 and my three brothers graduated in 2020, 2016, and 2013. My brothers and I have experienced two or more instances of bullying during our time at Cuthbertson. Please do not send your child here. They will be prepared for college, but at the cost of their mental and emotional health. This will effect their social and academic life in college. It effected my whole family.

I could go on for hours about the inappropriate things teachers said, reports I filed to the principal where nothing was done, lack of administration. From the outside, and academically it looks like an okay school, but after being there for 4 years, and looking back, the things that occurred there were extremely inappropriate. I have stories and could go on for hours

I highly recommend this school! I'm a parent of twins and we relocated from another state. My kids are now going to 10th and they adjusted just fine! They met friends and their teachers were great! To those that post negativity about the school, it's not the school. It's your upbringing! The school is not responsible for your attitude, depression, gender change, your family issues, etc... That's your parent's responsibility, not the school's job!

Absolutely horrible. Don’t send your children to this horrendous torture chamber. I learned absolutely nothing other than how to hide my crippling depression.

We have had a wonderful experience at Cuthbertson MS since relocation from out of state. The faculty and students both seem top notch and welcoming to new students. The accelerated classes are challenging, but not overwhelming.

Overall my children have had a positive experience at this school. All schools have their problems, but I feel that the teachers and staff at Cuthbertson strive to give each child a positive learning experience to the best of their ability.

Cuthbertson does great job. New principal a breath of fresh air. School is focused on kids and a good educational experience.

Great for education but still a school that still practice prejudicial acts that are hard to prove. What in the dark will come to the light.

This is really a great school! Teachers are always willing to help. My son is thriving in his education AND he loves going to school. Don't let the fact that the front office staff is rude and nasty. I don't think I ever entered this school and not felt like I was bothering them. Sad because they are unfortunately the first impression.

The teachers have been there when we have need them. At night if we have a problem with home work, we have e-mailed a couple of them and they have taken there time out of there evening to address the issue. Not once, but many times. Thank you for helping us raise our children in a good environment.

This school sucks. The staff is terrible, the teachers don't teach and the work is hard. Too much homework also.
