Our experience at Pinewood EEC has been nothing short of amazing. The teachers are passionate, patient, and highly skilled, providing individualized attention to ensure each child thrives. The principal, Ms. Nicholas, leads with kindness and professionalism, fostering a nurturing community that feels like family. My child’s confidence, creativity, and academic growth have soared, and we couldn’t be happier. Pinewood EEC is truly a gem for any parent looking for a well-rounded, caring early education program.

In my experience this school isn’t an option for my child . I took her to this school just in the mean time she was accepted into another school, no LAUSD . And she witness students fighting and punching each other , she witness lots of bullying . Not just that but my child and my self were in a car accident and I took her to school walking due to the fact that my car was not drivable at the moment I explained the situation to this ignorant “principal” and I was told by this ignorant not well informed women that a car accident isn’t an excuse . She gave me lots of attitude of course I didn’t let myself . After all I walked away since at that moment she was just being ignorant, not just that but the day before I went in to speak to her about something very personal , thinking she would understand and take me into a room where we would speak privately, but no she said we were able to speak in person right in front of the office were there was a parent & 3 other staff witness and hearing all of our conversation this is so humiliating and disrespectful and not professional. I right away took my daughter out of this unprofessional, not safe , disrespectful, school never again will my child put a foot into this school !

I'm so upset, this school is garbage they are failing academically. They have low test scores. Also the schools priority is not the safety of the children. In the last two months my son has been shove to the point his head broke a classroom window. Today my wife received a call saying my son was punched in the face. What does this school need to happen for some kind of action to take place, a lawsuit because this is where it's heading I'm super upset tomorrow the principal is gonna get an earful from me. WORST SPECIAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT EVER! I also want to know why i was not notified!

The teacher and the school staff need to be re train ,when it come on how to treat and approach and talk to the kids The lady the watch the kids in the lunch area it’s really mean and rude to the kid’s she is intimidating the kids with her screaming She have no right to be mistreating the kid’s she should be fired I have nothing good to said about Pine Wood .

This school is one to stay away from. Parents move their children from there all the time. The principal never speaks to parents, the staff make excuses for him and say he is shy. I never heard of a shy principal. The teachers talk badly about the children. The students dont do well when they go to MS so makes you wonder how the scores could have gone up. Dont even start your child here. The previous reviewer said scores went up to 87%. No such score in LAUSD and no grade level at Pinewood increased to 87%. Check it out yourself by speaking to parents there.

I am a student there and I think its awesome! The school has very high test scores! up to 87 %!!

Pinewood was a great place for my son. He just finished the 5th grade and I feel he is well prepared for middle school. I have had three children pass through there & I have no complaints.
