My school experience is positive because I enjoy being a positive teacher! My students respond to positive teaching and a positive attitude from the teacher and students produces a great classroom experience.

I have found the teachers to be genuinely caring. Many go above and beyond to help students feel safe and to be successful academically.

Don't just go by what others say, go to the school and see for yourself: new management, a caring staff, beautiful campus, and a safe environment.

The teachers are great, but sometimes the administration isn't as good. Mr. Moss is the most outstanding science teacher on campass and anyone who has him will 100% have a great time in his class and learn a lot. Technology in the school is very advanced and everyone has access to laptops or a computer lab. Over all my experience in this school has been outstanding!

My experiences at Mount Gleason have always been wonderful. The students have always seemed happy, the campus is beautifully maintained, and the staff have always been extremely friendly and helpful.

I feel that this middle school gets underrated by the community. I hear the community talk about it like it's an awful place to send your children. That may have been the case years ago, but it is actually a pretty darn good school! The teachers communicate with you via email or text and I've never seen that done before! After school and lunch tutoring is available now and that really helps out. I also like that the library has reopened for the school. Don't judge on what people say from a few years ago...make your own informed decision for what is right for your kids. These rating websites help out, but are not better than your own intuition.

This school is very organized, proactive, and positive. The instruction is strong within the main school and both STEAM and Gifted/High Ability magnets. Mount Gleason offer lots of resources & opportunities for students to develop knowledge, skills, and character - lunch clubs, StudentsRunLA, student government/leadership, Students of the Month recognition, Mustang Dollars, and more! Furthermore, parents have lots of opportunities to build capacity through the monthly parent workshops, council/committee participation, volunteer program, and technology trainings. Teachers are using Schoology Gradebook, and many parents registered for the Parent Portal to monitor and support their child's achievement in school. This is a stellar school with a strong college and career-readiness culture!

Awful school. Do not bring your children here. Children are extremely inappropriate and use fowl language like its their first language. Compared to other schools it is worse.
