We are very grateful we chose this school for our kid. He is thriving in the DLI and we love the teachers, the community, the principal, etc.Dunsmore carry a very strong program and they do it with love, respect and full commitment.Teachers have a lot of experience managing the classes wonderfully and they are fun and responsive to any questions we have on the way. My kid always comes with a big smile and a thumb up for another great day at school.

This is a great school for my kid. I appreciate the strong parent involvement and the caring teachers and staff. Love the language immersion class. The environment is warm and my child is encouraged to be herself.

Very good. I have faith that everything will work out. I had a bully in grammar school too.

We moved to the area for the schools and have found a terrific community with involved parents and a great elementary school.

This is an excellent school that fully supports both regular students and Japanese-language immersion students, with strong supportive teachers and staff. The atrocious scores for disadvantaged students are baffling. The overall rating for this school is less of a concern primarily because the foreign-language student body is self-selecting, going through a long application and lottery process to get into the program here. Great school for our kids.

We have had a challenging year with our son's behavior, but the school has been so supportive. The principal, Mrs. Stegman, is wonderful. She's kind, understanding, supportive and positive. They are doing improvements to the school yards, which we greatly appreciate so there is more grass and more shade.

This school is amazing for students of ALL abilities and races/ethnicities. It’s a close knit and highly involved community school where students thrive, grow, and achieve great things. There should be no qualms whatsoever about sending any child here

Dunsmore is a hidden gem in the foothills. The teachers follow Principal Stegman's caring but firm approach. There are abundant after and during school programs for children of all abilities.

Dunsmore is a dream come true for our family. When we moved to the area we took my son out of private school and decided that we would give public school a try. I am so glad we did. Mrs. Stegman is a fantastic principal that has the respect of the students, parents and her teachers. She runs a tight ship with a smile on her face. She attends PTA meetings and "Foundation" meetings. She is very approachable. The teachers love what they do and it shows. The K teachers are amazing. 1st grade is an adjustment but I believe in the teachers and that they will ready my son for 2nd grade. There are A LOT of opportunities to volunteer and be a part of the Dunsmore Community. With the smaller class sizes, I believe we are getting as close to a private school experience without the cost. I am a very happy parent.
