    This school has a great community of parents, educators and staff that truly care for the wellbeing and academic growth of their students. They have a variety of programs that promote academic interests, social awareness and wellness. They have an active PTA, friendly staff, a full-time school nurse and the principal is very much engaged, supportive, proactive and is always present in all school activities. As you enter the school, you are greeted by a beautiful hanging garden and artwork murals. Grounds are well-maintained with multiple playgrounds, a soccer field and a working library. There will always be a parent or two who will say "hello" to you and smile back when you're there.

    Mrs. Wassil the former principal of many years retired in 2022 and Mrs. Han has shown very proactive and engaging leadership. Yukon is a small school and the staff really gets to know the students there. It has a very active PTA and the teachers especially those in 5th grade are very caring and love what they do. I'm excited to see how this new leadership continues to positively impact our community.
