In my experience, students at this school are genuinely excited about what they are learning. The teachers here are not only respectful and supportive but also inspire their students to reach their full potential. Additionally, the school places a strong emphasis on promoting students' mental health and emotional well-being. It also ensures that students with disabilities receive the necessary support and accommodations to thrive. Furthermore, I have found this school to be a safe haven, free from violence, discrimination, and harsh discipline. Lastly, the school values the involvement of families, welcoming them as essential partners in their children’s education.

School has major issues and challenges to overcome. Used to be much better but has drifted off course. Child has attended for several years, currently in high school.- Bullying is a huge issue and a large number of kids are leaving the school to attend non GT public schools because of it. Administration gives the bullying lip service talks but the kids don’t pay attention. - The workload is unrealistic for the students. We’ve spoken with parents at Stargate, other GT, public and charter schools to triangulate. It’s causing a lot of major stress, anxiety and panic issues with the kids. - We spend hundreds of dollars a semester on tutors because many teachers are no longer engaged and teaching the kids (many other parents are doing the same). I also think the school is hiring teachers to fill slots that don’t have expertise or degrees in the subjects they're teaching. - The school used to have a tutor program to help the students. That has disappeared. - Administration does not sufficiently discipline or kick out problem students or put them in the Adam’s 12 at risk program if they have chronic disciplinary issues. - One boy harassed and assaulted a girl to the point he was charged by the Adams County District Attorney, but he is still attends the school. How does that help the victim or make any sense? - Another boy physically assaulted and hurt multiple teachers yet still somehow attends the school. How does that make any sense?- Many Stargate parents are starting to wonder if a GT education is worth it with the problems our kids are having. - Front office staff is awesome. Since it’s a charter school, I recommend the administration allow the students to grade the teachers at the end of each semester, take action if necessary. Peer reviews are fairly common outside education. While the bookends can be dismissed, the mean or median may give some insight as to how the teachers are performing from a student perspective.

The testing system at Stargate is not at all good. They only give admission to people who test with the psychiatrist. People who test at Stargate do not qualify!. The COGAT test at Stargate was done in less than 5 min. They must be having super powers to decide a kid's IQ in that short span of time.

My kids have attended Stargate for the past 6 years. They have a top notch program for gifted students. The staff and teachers are supportive and responsive to concerns.

All 4 of my children have gone to Stargate over the last 13 years. This school is our home, from the teachers to the administration, we call them family! And just like any family, you have your ups and downs. But I can't imagine my children attending any other school. One of my students struggles with a disability and the care and compassion they have received to help them succeed has been above and beyond! This is by far an amazing school. We are lucky to attend.

Extremely positive. This school allows your child to advance at their own pace. If your child is in 6th grade but can do 8th grade math, your child does not become the 6th grade teacher assistant for math, but gets move up to an 8th grade math class!

This school's reputation does not fit the day to day experience of it's students and families. They need to grow a lot. It seems very disorganized. Teachers do not seem happy, at all.

this is our 5th year at stargate and though my child had had some ups and downs, overall the fact that teachers and admin here are trained to deal with the social and emotional needs exclusive to gifted kids makes a huge difference I the success of the students.

We love our school. I have one child currently at Stargate and another entering Stargate in the fall. I, and many of the other parents, wonder what our own lives would have been like had we had the opportunity to go to a school like Stargate that focuses on the gifted child. We love the administration, the staff, and the community that Stargate has developed and that not only are my kids thriving in their advanced learning environments (my second grader is doing fractions!), they are having fun while doing so. Moreover, while our administration has faced some recent hurdles, I am also appreciative that they are being transparent, taking accountability, and addressing the issues head-on. It's what I do in my life and I am proud that Stargate is setting the same example for my kids.

This had been a phenomenal school for my daughter. She started attending in middle School and loves going, which is a big difference from how she viewed elementary school. I'm so thankful for the staff at Stargate!

Stargate is an amazing school and I am so happy that we made the choice to send our son to this school. I am so impressed with the staff, teachers, and parent volunteers who give so much every day to provide an amazing educational environment for the students. I highly recommend the Stargate Charter school!

Overall the experience has been very good. I will not say perfect, but they have always been wonderful about addressing any concerns and helping my kids with what struggles they're having. I feel very lucky to have my children at this school.
