I have had 3 kids go through PHE over the past 13 years and had nothing but wonderful experiences. I have 2 kids with ALPs and one on an IEP and in Special Ed and they have all loved PHE. The staff and teachers truly care about them and have gone above and beyond for my kids. I will be sad to leave PHE as my youngest moves on. I can’t recommend PHE enough. Everyone there is wonderful and with the support of parents, the school has continued to make improvements over the years.

My son love PH elementary.Prairie Hills brings out the best in every child by tapping into their individual strengths, while creating an environment of kindness, responsibility, and leadership. The teachers are amazing, each child is treated with care. We can’t thank the staff enough! They’ve always been helpful and transparent with anything and everything when it comes to our son!Our family is so grateful!!

A child diagnosed with autism was called “gross” during a conference. This child has been made fun of and labeled while the principle and teacher has sat by and stated no one wants to be her friend. Children deserve more, they deserve respect and understanding, all characteristics this school is lacking.

Current administration is very poor at handling discipline and providing safe effective teaching for non traditional learners.

This school is amazing. Great teachers. Strong SEL program in place. This school has it all. My families experience has been wonderful. I am shocked by some of the negative reviews.

Prairie Hills has the potential to be an amazing place for kids to learn and grow. Many of the teachers and staff are truly amazing. However, the management of this school by the current principal erases all the good that could exist within the school. She has no honest interest in any issue that is brought to her attention. She’s extremely condescending to parents when they express legitimate concerns. She listens and fakes a look of concern and then basically says she’s not open to considering any changes. Procedures are not followed consistently and safety is not a priority inside the school, but she tries to distract families from that by focusing on parking lot procedures.

No comment. It's best if we say nothing.

Awful! This school is a joke! Don't let the high ratings fool you.

I have absolutely no regrets with the decision that we made to have our son attend PHE. He has been a student since kindergarten and I wish that he could continue attending in 6th grade. He is stronger mentally and has been continually pushed academically. He will enter middle school stronger than he would have at another elementary school.

We are beyond happy with this incredible school! We moved our two daughters to Prairie Hills Elementary this school year. They are in 2nd and 5th Grade and they are doing amazing. The Principal, Mrs. Hastings is approachable, and passionate about education and you can see in all the personal and students her point of view about kindness. The office staff are so helpful and the teacher are exceptional and love to teach. Our girls love to go to school every day and is the best thing to happen to our family when we move the girls to this school! I highly recommend it.

Overall couldn't be happier. Our little one started here in first grade and with the help of teachers and staff they have flourished. Can't recommend PHE enough. The only complaint I have would be the time the kiddo's get to eat lunch - they are kids, so giving them an extra 15 minutes to eat would be great, but that would be a fault of the district and not specifically this school.

We are so grateful for this amazing school in our neighborhood! From walking into the school all throughout it - you will be impressed!! Miss Tammy and Miss Betty at the front keep our kids save along with all the many amazing things they do everyday!! The teachers and staff are exceptional! They truly care about our kids!

We had nothing but problems from day one. The office staff is not friendly or help full the Principal doesn't know how to do her job. The school has a huge bullying problem and the administration does nothing to fix it. The classes are way to full. The teachers we worked with were great but they can only do so much when they don't have the support of the administration and the district is okay with having a grading system that only wants the kids to meet basic standards.

We relocated from another state and were extremely disappointed with the poor communication, lack of organization and poor planning from the school administrators. The teachers were all very good but, had their hands tied with what was allowed of them. We were to have the class assignments today, 8/8/16, as posted at the school, by 3 pm. Ten minutes prior, we get an email stating that they will be assigned on Friday which is also the day of meet the teacher. It will be mass chaos trying to determine which teacher our children have, where to go and how many other parents will be there at the same time unable to "meet the teacher" due to the fact that they will be extremely busy. This is a small example of the frustrations we had ALL LAST YEAR! Terribly run. Very sad for the children.

We have two kids moving through the school (one in 4th, one in 2nd) and we've been very happy with five of the six teachers our kids have had. Great extra-curricular activities are offered. No complaints.

I love the parent involvement and the PTO leadership. Not a day goes by when there are not multiple parents volunteering in some way. It sets a great example for our little learners.

We love Prairie Hills Elementary. We have had our children here for the last 6 years and are truly blessed to be here. We have had some exceptional teachers through the years and their love for teaching and each child is evident. They are working diligently for each child to succeed and grow academically as well as encourage them character building. The front staff is amazing!!! They know each child by name as well as their families and even younger siblings who are not yet enrolled in the school. Impressive! The specials teachers are another wonderful asset to our elementary adding diverse learning and some very fun after school programs. Lastly my 4 children love going to school. That is a credit and testimony to the leadership, teachers and staff of our school.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Prairie Hills Elementary school. The teachers are wonderful. They truly care about the students and how they learn. I LOVE the special education team. They are remarkable and always give 100% of themselves. Finally, the principal is great and has the ability to help families whether she does it herself or has assistance completing issues within the school environment.

I am beyond pleased with our experience at PHE. My daughter tells me every day she LOVES school! I know its due to a great staff. The principal, Mrs. Hastings is approachable, and passionate about education, the front office staff is very friendly and helpful, and my daughter's teacher has made school fun and exciting.

My son has been enrolled in Prairie Hills for a full year. So far, the experience has been going well. His teachers, for his first year and current year, have been responsive to all my questions. When my son initially began his term, he transferred in from another school. The transition was difficult for him, but his teacher stayed on top of his progress and kept me informed. Suffice it to say, he really likes the school, classmates and teachers.
