This school is not acceptable especially with special needs who don't understand their disabilities. The principal and assistant principal are very unprofessional as well as the " social worker". They lack in communication and provide no evidence to support their disciplinary actions. Do not trust your child with the leadership in this school.

Great School System, we have 2 kids currently enrolled with a 3rd on the way next year. There are a few teachers we wouldn't recommend, but overall have been very happy with the educators and would highly recommend. Our kids are doing very well and we are very appreciative. Most of the teachers go above and beyond to engage with the our kids and have after hours sessions to provide live sessions with extra help. Covid has been a very difficult time to be a parent of school age kids and they have done an amazing job of ensuring the kids enjoy learning and are actively engaged. The administration are extremely recitative to parent concerns and always willing to help facilitate a positive and welcoming environment, where the kids feel valuable and important.

Lincoln/Roosevelt is a great school. Students are treated with respect. They are held accountable for their time, responsibilities and to display good manners. Principal, Assistant Prin and school office staff are wonderful. Teachers are great. Very helpful and approachable. Lots of school activities. Great music program.

After coming from Nixon Elementary I was less than impressed with this school. First of all the school is extremely outdated and old, classrooms are overcrowded and extremely hot in the summertime and freezing in the winter. There were days my daughter had to wear her coat during school hours. Academically, the work my daughter was coming home with was not impressive at all, I was hoping she would be challenged when she got to this school, but that was not the case at all. Cafeteria in LR is horrific, lines are extremely long to get food, quality of food is disgusting. My poor daughter would come home some days because her food was served cold and/or was so bad she couldn t eat it. I feel like there was no communication with the parents I wasn t aware of anything that was ever going on in the school. Most of the other schools have PTA or School Facebook pages with updates to keep you current. The PTA in LR is not good, I don t feel they did anything above and beyond for our kids. Fundraising catalogs were always being sent home, which I threw away everytime. I m very glad my child is out of this school, hopefully it changes before I have to send my next child there.

My daughter recently completed 5 & 6 grades at LR. I hated this school. Classes were overcrowed. classrooms were dispersed far apart as this school encompasses 2 buildings and children don't have enough time between classes. The Principal is not open to change or suggestions from parents. Very close minded. I give this school 1 star.
