The Superintendent of this School would not accept my daughters application due to her Disability. I would not recommend this school if your child has any type of learning Disability .the School Management is quick to push aside students with IEP 's .the Superintendent still has not given a specific reason for Denying the application after 3 seperate E Mails , pretty sad !

All three of my children went all the way through the Wharton schools. Both of them were first rate and provided them with a solid background in the arts and sciences. My two oldest are excelling in college and my youngest is doing very well in high school. The school provides a very safe environment, caring teachers, and innovative programming--all with comparatively low taxes. As a college administrator/faculty member who teaches graduate level history, I am very impressed by the school system, and am incredibly glad we were fortunate enough to find this great little town.

I thouroughly enjoyed my time at the school, most of my best childhood memories are there. life long friends were made there, and an all important education was earned there. but more importantly, MacKinnon was were my hunger for a thourough education was formed. its the best place i have ever been in.
